If you emotionally and sentimentally hold on to the physical Guru as a guide you will never be able to transcend the dualistic illusion to non-dualistic reality.+

A Guru who pretends to be Self- realized and plays with the emotions and sentiments of the seeker is a fraud, not a Gnani.

If you emotionally and sentimentally hold on to the physical Guru as a guide you will never be able to transcend the dualistic illusion to non-dualistic reality.

The idea of having a Guru itself blocks you from realizing the Self’, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion.

Sage Sankara himself said: ~ A Gnani "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

It means the Gurus, Swamis, and Yogis who identify themselves as holy people are not Gnanis.

Those who are seeking truth need not follow any Guru or any teaching.

The one who thinks of himself as a Guru and the one who thinks of himself as a chela (disciple) will not be able to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because both of them accepted themselves as the body. And all their understanding, practices, knowledge are based on the false self (ego or you). Therefore, the Guru –Shisya concept is a great obstacle in the pursuit of truth. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Religion, yoga, and gurudom belong to illusory univeres and they are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is the cause of the illusory universe.+

Religion, yoga, and gurudom belong to illusory universe and they are nothing to do with the Soul, the Self, which is the cause of the illusory universe.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe.

Sage Sankara ~ VC~ "All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Soul) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ “The universe raises from the Soul, the Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).

First, know ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’ for sure. Without realizing what untruth truth is, it is difficult to know what truth is.

When the sky, clouds, and the world in which you exist are made of single clay then there is no second thing that exists, other than that clay. That clay is the Soul, which is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Reality is hidden by unreality. The world in which we exist hides the truth. Whatever belongs to you is unreal. The words and thoughts belong to you, not to the Soul, which is the ‘self.

Whatever has name and form and attributes and whatever belongs to form, time and space is an illusion. The illusion hides the Spirit, which is God in truth.

The illusion and Spirit are one in essence. Spirit, the God alone is real and eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The objective world-the world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, has real existence.+

The objective world-the world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, has real existence. The world is only phenomenal.

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC- 63.~ Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

The world is subjected to creation and dissolution only from the standpoint of the ego. The Soul, the ‘Self’ cannot be subjected to creation and dissolution because the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The Soul is as it is.

Let you be clear on one thing. The world in which you exist is mere a dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. but in the reality the world in which you exist neither exists in the past nor exists now, nor going to exist in the future.

Whatever existed in the past and whatever exist now and whatever is going to exists in the future is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.

Sage Sankara was the exponent of the Advaitic wisdom. His wisdom can be summed up in the following words: Brahman alone is real, this world is unreal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.+

All the gurus of the east and west interpret Advaita from a dualistic standpoint or orthodox point of view and they are still dealing with words, not truth. It proves that they have not understood the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

Some scriptures have presented fragments of truth imbedded in the covering of stories, histories, and picturesque touches of mysticism.

Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.

Manduka Upanishad:~Reality and illusion together make Brahman: nothing can be left out.

Manduka Upanishad:~ Atman is the highest Reality.

Manduka Upanishad:~Only a few will be able to understand and assimilate it

Manduka Upanishad is not meant for all, as it is based entirely on reasoning.

Scriptures are being added from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

Orthodox Advaita is based on a religious perspective. Thus, they will not transport the seeker to the ultimate end of understanding. The seeker has to do his own homework to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual, or dogmatic instruction to the mass, but pure philosophy only to the few who could rise to it. Hence the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

The orthodoxy Advaita addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus in the idea of God.

Those of superior intelligence, have no need for this idea of divine causality, and can, therefore, dispense with Sruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.

Tripura Rahasya:~ Second-hand knowledge of the ‘Self’-gathered from books or gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning your attention inward. – (18: 89)

That is why Sage Sankara says:~ VC:~65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (non-duality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy there is a lot of confusion. Sage Sankara’s quotes (selected verified) are quoted in my blogs and postings to show what Sage Sankara meant and ‘what is blocking the seekers from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

There are so many non-dualistic masters of the east and also from the west who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge, but none of them are helpful to reach the ultimate end.

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the ‘Self’ is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In the realm of truth the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.

Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need for scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first, then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

Scriptures are being added from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People all over the world in the past and present accepted the existence of God without knowing what God is supposed to be in truth.+

People all over the world in the past and present accepted the existence of God without knowing what God is supposed to be in truth.

People accepted their inherited religious propagated Gods based on blind faith or blind belief.

Religion propagates that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

Religion can never make you know God. Only an intense urge to know what God is supposed to be in truth can make you realize God. The Soul, the ‘Self is the Infinite God.

Scriptures say God is something but people worship something else as God.

Realize what God is supposed to be in actuality according to your own holy books.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth, Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realize God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.:

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Yajur Veda also says:~ God has no image and His name is Holy. (32.3)”

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~  God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself’.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the Soul is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

Lord Krishna Says Ch. V:~ “Those who know the ‘Self’ in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)

Thus, by worshiping individualized God and following religion, studying scripters are meant for those who are incapable of realizing the truth of their true existence.:~Santthosh Kumaar

All guru propagated wisdom is are based on dualistic perspective and orthodox point of view whereas Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is based on non-dualistic perspective and on also on rational standpoint.+

Many took second-hand knowledge propagated by Gurudom as a fact without thinking and reasoning and stuck up without reaching nowhere.

All guru propagated wisdom is are based on dualistic perspective and orthodox point of view whereas Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is based on non-dualistic perspective and on also on rational standpoint.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC -63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

To say the universe is an illusion without first examining it and inquiring into its nature thoroughly is to delude oneself. This world is common to every one of us; therefore the seeker of truth must begin his inquiry with it.

It is only after he has inquired into the nature of the objective world he realizes the universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.

First, the seeker must inquire into the nature of the three states to realize the three states are one in essence. One has to observe everything in the three states because all three states are one in essence and that essence is consciousness (Soul or Atman) Atman is Brahman or God in truth.

The seeker should not shut his eyes to the nature of the three states, because they are a mere mirage created out of consciousness.

Form, time, and space are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God.

Brahman cannot be described, because description implies distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than Soul, the Self.

The three states have no independent existence. The Soul which is present in the form of consciousness alone has real existence. The three states are a mere illusion created out of consciousness.

A Gnani sees only unity in diversity, just like a goldsmith estimating the gold in various items of jewelry sees only gold.

When one identifies the Self with the form then only the form, time and space are present. But when one transcends form, time, and space the duality never remain as reality: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

In recent years an increasing number of cosmologists, theoretical physicists, and philosophers of science have argued that consciousness is a basic aspect of the cosmos. Sage Sankara has declared this truth in the 8th century,+.

In recent years an increasing number of cosmologists, theoretical physicists, and philosophers of science have argued that consciousness is a basic aspect of the cosmos. Sage Sankara has declared this truth in  the 8th century.

The world is believed to be a superimposition on consciousness, which is Brahman or ultimate truth. Superimposition cannot be true.

On the other hand, Sage Sankara claims that the world is not false. It appears false only when compared to Consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

As indicated in the Vedas,  Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita all-pervading consciousness is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material.

God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth, or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ if you believe that the Soul, which is [resent in the form of consciousness is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

Consciousness is ‘Self’-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is the true ‘Self’.

Consciousness is within, consciousness is without; consciousness is before, consciousness is behind; consciousness is on the right, consciousness is on the left; consciousness is above and consciousness below.

Until one thinks of his body as body, ego as ego the universe as the universe, he remains in ignorance because he is still in ignorance and he is unaware of the fact that they too are the consciousness. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
