Atmic path is only for those seriously seeking truth, not for those who want solutions for worldly life but to realize the world life is an illusion created out of the ‘Self’, which is hidden by ignorance.

All the suffering and solutions belong to the dualistic illusion. Those who are stuck to ignorance experience the individual experience of pleasure and pain as a reality.

My blogs and postings are mainly intended for the seekers who found theological, religious, yogic, and theoretical philosophies as a useless raft to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman and who are interested in direct realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

Advaita is not any type of teaching or philosophy. Advaita is the knowledge of your true existence. Advaita is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the ultimate reality, Brahman, or God in truth.

That is why Sage Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

If you are the truth seeker then it is better to spend time discovering the facts about your own existence than waste precious time attending Satsang, meeting Gurus and yogis, by traveling one place to another by reading books after books, by staying Ashrams, and by the walking in the Himalayas.

Sage Sankara says ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Swami Vivekananda said:~ "The Vedas teach that the Soul is divine, only held in the bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~ Liberation will never come without realizing the Oneness.+


Oneness means Advaita. Identifying the Soul hidden by the universe as it is through Advaitic wisdom the oneness arises.

 Swami Vivekananda: ~ Oneness (Advaita) is the Secret of Everything.

Lord Krishna: People did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence Advaitic wisdom got lost. That is why Lord Krishna calls it "the supreme secret.

Sage Sankara said: ~ Liberation will never come without realizing the Oneness.

Oneness is the nature of the Soul, the Self. Oneness means Advaita or nonduality. When the universe appears the duality appears. When there is duality then there is no Oneness. When there is Oneness there is no duality.

Advaitic wisdom dawns on its own in the mids of the dualistic illusion when you realize the consciousness oneness of form, time, and space.

By saying I and you are one the Oneness will not arise.

There is no Oneness in the realm of ignorance.

There is no Oneness when ‘I’ is present.

There is no Oneness when the mind is present.

There is no Oneness when the dualistic illusion is present.

There is no Oneness when the universe is present.

There is no Oneness when the waking or dream is present.

There is no Oneness when the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is present.

There is consciousness Oneness in the midst of the dualistic illusion when Advaitic wisdom dawns. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~ When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?+

The Soul is not limited to an individual. The individuals are many, but the Soul is one. The Soul is one means consciousness is one, which is the cause of the illusory universe.

The ‘Self’ is not the mind. The mind is present in the form of not the world in which we exist. The world appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).
The ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, diversity is created out of single stuff. That stuff is consciousness.
Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. From the standpoint of the Soul, the form, time, and space are one, in essence.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The nature of the Soul is awareness.

The all-pervading consciousness is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material in the world in which we exist.

Consciousness is the cause of the world in which we exist and it itself is uncaused. Consciousness alone is real and eternal, and the world in which we exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth

The individual exists within the universe. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. The Soul is not within the human body. The universe is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, whatever universe contains is bound to be the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that you are not the Self, the world in which you exist is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, but consciousness is specifically not an entity or identity or a thing within the world in which you exist. But it is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused.
The Soul is hidden within the world in which you exist. The nature of the Soul is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Thus, it is necessary to realize the world in which you exist is created out of single stuff, which is consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Thus, God alone is real; the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Self-realization is necessary to realize ‘what is truth and ‘what is the untruth.+


Most of the Gurus and Yogis' approach was more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the 'I', they take it as real. All their teachings of Advaita are based on the dualistic perspective. They describe marvelously the goal but do not indicate the steps to be taken: their recurring phrases "unified consciousness" and "let go" and "'love alone" are not a roadmap. Such teaching will not yield the truth of the whole.

Many Gurus describes to perfection is the awakening to Reality ~the realization that pure Consciousness alone is, that the perpetually fluctuating and evanescent contents of the mind derive from it. This awakening effectively happens in an instant. But for the lightning flash to take place, resulting in a firm and unshakable certitude, long labor is necessary, which they seem to underestimate. “Truth is formless is their answer.

Many Gurus' teaching seems essentially negative, potent but bitter medicine for those imprisoned by institutional cults. They break the disciple's bonds but then lead him to a vast desert where they abandon him.

The ‘I’ is blocking your realization of truth. The ‘I’ based teachings have to be discarded to realize the Advaitic reality.

The seeker has to make sure what is this ‘I’ supposed to be? The seeker has to make sure the unreal nature of the ‘I’ which comes and goes to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space

That is why Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

Where there is ‘I’ there is ignorance.

Where there is ignorance there is separation.

Where there is a separation there is duality.

Where there is duality there is an illusion.

Where there is an illusion there is the mind.

Where there is a mind there is the universe.

Where there is universe there is waking or dream.

Where there is the universe, there is waking or dream there is form, time, and space

But remember:~

Where there is no ‘I’ there is no ignorance.

Where there is no ignorance there is no separation.

Where there is no separation there is no duality.

Where there is no duality there is no illusion.

Where there is no illusion there is no mind.

Where there is no mind there is no universe.

Where there is no universe there is no waking or dream.

Where there is no waking or dream there is no form, time, and space

When there are no divisions of form, time, and space, there is Advaitic reality.

Perfect understanding of ‘what is what leads to the realization of Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Without knowing ‘what mind is in actuality how you can know consciousness? Playing with words is not spirituality. Consciousness is the cause of the mind and it itself is uncaused.

Preaching teaching is not wisdom. only through perfect understanding and realization of ‘what is what leads to the realization of the truth, which is hidden within the form, time, and space and it is without the form, time, and space.

Consciousness is not an object but it’s the subject. Knowledge of both object and subject is ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana

Remember:~

Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

The all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the sentient and insentient. Material.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world which confronts them that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego therefore he sees the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees the world in which he exists as consciousness and he is fully aware of the fact that, there is no second thing exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. 

Thus, all the egocentric (religious) adulteration has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman to know the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC~"All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman(consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought

Sage  Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

Ashtavakra Gita: ~ The universe rises from the Soul, the innermost Self like bubbles from the sea. Thus, know the Self to be One and in this way enter into the state of dissolution."

You are not the ‘Self’ because you are mortal. You are mortal because you are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world. The ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is immortal because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The one that is in ignorance is the Soul; the one that has to wake up from the sleep of ignorance is the Soul, the  Self.

The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes the world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Without the illusion, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone will prevail as the ultimate reality or Brahman or God on truth. Thus, consciousness is Brahman or God in truth.

Self-realization is necessary to realize ‘what is truth and ‘what is the untruth.

Consciousness is the root element of the universe. Consciousness is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. From the Soul, the universe comes into existence. In the Soul, the universe resides. In addition, into the Soul the universe dissolves. The Soul is the parent of all that is there is.

Rest in consciousness, by realizing the universe in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar 

Even we find A, U, M in Vedantic literature, which in Hinduism uses as “OM”.+

The word AUM has been chosen because it is a short easily remembered syllable. The separate sounds of the word are symbols, nothing more. The combination of these three-letter sounds in one word symbolizes the world's unity.

The three divisions of time--past present and future--are also symbolized. Moreover, AUM contains three letters and Atman contains three states. Finally just as it requires four quarters to merge and make up a whole unity, so A, U, and M are three of these quarters.

AWhen one thinks of himself as seeing the waking experience; but when he thinks of the self apart from that self is  Atman.

Uhe regards his -self as being in the dream. This is a higher idea because he knows that a universe is an object to the subject which is Ataman.

MWhen one understands that through deep sleep he can measure all else, that all other things (and the sounds A and U symbolizing them) merge back into Deep sleep, are all found in it, and re-appear from it. This is a still higher degree.

Even if one takes any language he likes, he finds that A involves the opening of the mouth whereas M involves shutting it. Now all sound implies soundlessness because it begins from that and ends with that. Hence the two always go together.

Similarly the knower and Known go together to form Brahman, are always present together although we do not usually recognize it. AUM= Turiya: This is not a state, as the ignorant Orthodoxy think.

 This word includes all the three sounds, which have merged in it. So the waking merges in a dream, the latter in sleep, and all the three in AUM. The latter is a unity, nevertheless, it contains a trinity. Thus when the word is made the subject of intelligent reflection, such meditation becomes a great help to attainment, as Advaitins says, for it thus becomes an examination of the whole of life.

Sounds imply names, names imply objects, objects imply the whole world. "Au" is the beginning of all sounds, "uM" is the end of all sounds, even another sound is included within them, i.e. within AUM.
Whatever may come in the future, whatever object existed in the past, whatever thing you can think of in the present--all these are included in the single word AUM because all are named, hence are ideas, hence within the single mind.

The word is a mnemonic purposely invented to give men in one short syllable, in the smallest compass, a handy reminder that everything--this table, your neck-tie, that cow,--is of one and the same essential character. Every time any object is seen, you utter Aum and thus remember that it, and all other things, are the self. Every object in the external world is indicated by a name. Hence the phrase "the universe consists of names and forms.” All names are but words. As soon as a word is uttered, what does your mind do? A thought comes. Now all these words in every language, all these sounds, all these thoughts, are compressed in the one word Aum; which also enables all objects to be comprehended by the Mind as being ideas. Hence this word is unique. Nothing exists which is outside the scope of referential meaning AUM.

Aum, therefore, is the whole of existence, the universe. But why is this specific word Aum chosen for such high office? Take the first letter "AH". It is the sound phonetically uttered by the mouth when it first opens. "UM" is the sound it utters when at last it closes. Hence all sounds, without a single exception must be comprised between the opening and shutting of the lips, i.e. between "AH" and "UM" and as Brahman is silence, so ultimately the AUM disappears with the sounding of "UM" into silence because the mouth must then shut. You have to use words to denote things, objects. You have to use letters to form words. The word AUM summarizes all other words. Finally, even this word disappears when the sound of it goes. So the letting go of AUM is to make you drop the whole world and make you think of Brahman. Thus the mystery of AUM is wrapped in the meaning of words. Semantics aim at clarifying meanings but AUM ultimately shows you that all words are futile because they cannot express the ultimate nature of anything: Silence alone does this.

One cannot produce any sound without opening the mouth and the first sound he utters while opening the mouth is A. Thus A is said to pervade all sounds. A is considered to be the symbol of the universe because all objects are indicated by ideas, all ideas are indicated by sounds and all sounds are pervaded by the letter A.

When we utter the word "sound" how can we understand the meaning of sound? It is only by distinguishing it from soundlessness that we can understand sound. All sounds are got from soundlessness. Similarly, all the states are got from the Turiya, corresponding to soundlessness. We have to merge waking into dreams, then merge dreams into a deep sleep. And finally, we have to merge even this into Turiya.

AUM is conceived as the whole universe, which has got four quarters. How can one know that the universe and the Self [soul] are identical? The answer is "Look into his -self--the Atman.” This Atman has also four corresponding quarters.

 When one utters the word AUM, the waking comes before him: when he thinks of a dream, the dream states come before him; and so also with sleep. Thus every time he utters the word AUM the three states come before him.

Meditation on symbols is meant for dull and mediocre intellects. When we utter the word AUM we must think of the three states and also of the Ataman.

Aum is a sound, how can it be an elephant? "All sounds" means all objects or entire Brahman.
Anything which is thought is an idea, and hence a superimposition. Aum is the substratum of all the words. It is the word of Atman. Aum stands for the sound and not the letter which is found in all languages. It sums up all the sounds in all the languages. As upon the mind, everything else is super-imposed, so upon the Aum, everything else is superimposed.

The sound has for its substratum or substance one’s own self. It comes from and disappears into the self, which is Atman.

All this baggage is not necessary for the pursuit of truth. Seeker has to find and realize “What is mind?” and “What is the substance of the Mind?” nothing else to unfold the mystery of the physical existence [universe].  

The individual experiences happening within the universe, such as birth, life and death, and pain and pleasure are nothing to do with the Self, which is formless consciousness. 

Thus, it is necessary to know the self is formless to realize the fact that, the burden of the human is not on the body but it is on the Self [soul or consciousness], which the religionists call God/Brahman//Buddha and intellectuals call it as Consciousness. 

Thus consciousness alone is real.  The human and universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Know the consciousness as true self then one becomes free from experiencing the mirage [birth, life, death, and the universe] as reality:~Santthosh Kumaar     

The essence of Mundaka Upanishads is:~ Do not be satisfied with rituals, yoga, etc. which are good in their own way, but inquiry.+

All the gurus have failed to influence the people in Advaitic Gnana. It is because Advaitic wisdom is mixed up and missed with religion instead of spirituality or Adyathma. The essence of Mundaka Upanishads is:~ Do not be satisfied with rituals, yoga, etc. which are good in their own way, but inquiry.

Inquire into the nature of the mind. ? Brahman and Atman are things one can never see. So seeker should not inquire into them. He has to inquire into the world around him, which he can see. Analysis reveals him it is passing away every second.
Everything is dying repeatedly. Where is it going? Thus he follows up his investigation into what he can lay his hands on. How can he inquire into Atman which he cannot see? So first he must deal with the known and seen, this inquiry leads up to the unknown in the end.
Mediocre minds waste their time arguing about unimportant matters. Accumulation of scriptural knowledge is dangerous in pursuit of truth.
The seeker has to establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. The seeker has to begin by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to discuss, understand and assimilate self-knowledge.
Thus, the seeker has to remove all the hindrances to acquire Self-knowledge.
The truth which has no basis is usually religion or a mere catalog of ignorant opinions; people prefer it because it can be got more easily.
A religious philosophy based on the false self (ego) is worthless from the standpoint of truth.
Yantra, mantra, and tantra are for the ignorant mass. In this modern age, people are capable of thinking deeply and assimilating and realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Thus we have to focus our attention on acquiring self-knowledge. By dropping all this accumulated dross, which is a hindrance in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
When one goes deeper investigation into the annals of history he becomes aware of the fact that it looks like the Gnanic Advaita expounded by Sage Sankara, and Sage Goudpada is not orthodox Advaita.
Orthodoxy is meant to suit the ignorant mass who strongly believes in the experience of birth, life, death, and the world as reality.
Thus, the Advaitic wisdom expanded by the great sages is nothing to do with the Advaitic orthodoxy: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Taittiriya Vartika, verse-24:~ There is also another reason for rejecting this view. Karma involves duality in the form of means and end, doer and deed. The perception of duality is ignorance.+

Sage Sankara says:~Karma is not competent to remove ignorance, for it is not opposed to it. It does not matter in what way we characterized ignorance, whether as the absence of knowledge or as doubt or as erroneous knowledge. It is always removable by knowledge, but not by action in any of its forms, for there is no contradiction between ignorance and karma. (Commentary on Brah.3-3-1 )
Taittiriya Vartika, verse-24:~ There is also another reason for rejecting this view. Karma involves duality in the form of means and end, doer and deed. The perception of duality is ignorance. Further, it is only a person who has a desire to perform karma. Since he is ignorant of the non-dual Self, he thinks that there are objects other than the Self which he should strive for and that there are persons for whom he should suffer in his body. "He struggles to desire something for himSelf, something else for his son, the third thing for his wife and so on and gets involved in the cycle of births and deaths." (Brh. Up. Sage Sankara's Commentary, 4-4-12)
In short, karma presupposes desire, involves duality, and is, therefore, a product of avidya. If so, how can it destroy avidya, the root cause of bondage, and thereby cause liberation?

In the orthodox analysis, human life and behavior are explained on the basis of the theory of karma, which sets the cycle of rebirths into motion.
All actions, good or bad, create their own karmic residues called Vasanas, which exhibit their results over a period of time. The karma which has already started taking fruit is called Prarabdha Karma.
This is the karma that is responsible for the current birth. The accumulated karma which is yet to take fruit is called sancita karma. As long as the cycle of rebirth continues, more karma will be done in the future, and this is called Again karma.
Liberation (moksha) is the way out of this endless cycle. The karma theory is merely a religious and yogic fable.
Sage Sankara: ~ “Action (karma) cannot destroy ignorance, for it is not in conflict with or opposed to ignorance.
Knowledge does verily destroy ignorance as light destroys deep darkness. -Atma Bodha
Karma (Action) will not dispel ignorance itself. Karma itself is based on ignorance Only Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana will destroy ignorance.
The person who bases on the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is trying to find the meaning of life. There is no meaning or purpose in life because life is merely happening within the dualistic illusion.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
