Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way.+

Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way. (Manduka Karika)
People are being conditioned by the religious myth, which has made you a non-thinker. Come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.
All teachings of these thinkers and Gurus of nonduality are based on the false self (ego), so there is an error in their teachings.
Sage Sankara says once the error is removed, the Brahman (God) will reveal itself of its own accord.
Only through Self-knowledge is nonduality realized. Self-knowledge will not arise from the exchange of views and opinions, and arguments. The accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.
Existence is nondual. Nonduality cannot be described by means of words, for all uses of language fail to express it. Nonduality is sought to be indicated by mental negation of duality (the illusory universe).
Within the dualistic illusion or Maya, many people express nonduality, from a dualistic perspective, for people who are incapable of grasping the non-dualistic truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
There is no doubt that many masters have given a valuable contribution to seeking the world, but none of them have taken one to the ultimate end. Thus, the seeker has to verify on his own and remove all obstacles which is blocking his realization on his own.
There is no need to criticize any teacher or Guru and waste time; instead, the seeker has to utilize the same time to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana through deeper Self-search.
Truth means a certainty. If there is any uncertainty, it is not the truth. It does not deal with imagination.
People do not have a scientific attitude because they take things as presented to them. They have rather an emotional and sentimental attitude. The correct attitude is to verify all the facts, to see a problem in them, something to investigate and inquire into them.
Truth must be verifiable; unless it is verifiable, it is of no value. Those who lack the capacity to doubt are not fit for the pursuit of truth.
Analogical, inductive, and deductive reasoning are good only within the dualistic illusion; none are absolutely and universally infallible because they are based on the ego, which is the false Self within the false experience.

From the non-dualistic perspective, there is nothing that exists, nothing ever existed; nothing will ever exist other than consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

That alone is God, and not that which people here worship as God based on blind faith or belief.+

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the politicians as useful.
Religion breeds superstition because religion is based on blind faith or blind belief. That alone is God, and not that which people here worship as God based on blind faith or belief.
The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.
People all over the world, in the past and present, have accepted the idea of the existence of God. The fear of God instilled by the religion was the root cause of worship, superstitions, and dogmas. The religious belief is passed on to the populace from one generation to the next.
Religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.
Swami Vivekananda: ~ If superstition enters, the brain is gone. Superstition is our great enemy, but bigotry is worse.
Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained the knowledge of Atman, worships Self as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
Bhagavad Gita itself says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When the Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.
How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshipped, whereas God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.
Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse -20)
Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived-That alone is known as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (Chapter I:~ That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived-That alone is known as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object-That alone is known as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Even in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Thus, it clearly indicates that God in truth is without form and attributes and ever free.
Remember:~
The Vedas talk about Brahman, which refers to the ultimate truth or ultimate reality. Consciousness is the ultimate truth; therefore, consciousness is Brahman, and Brahman is God in truth.
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth. Nothing is real but the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
God in truth, is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal, and all else is an illusion.
Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Yajurveda – chapter- 32: - God is the Supreme Spirit, has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Vedas do not permit idol worship. All the idols are of the Puranic Gods, and priests are referring to the Puranic Brahma as God; they are ignorant of the God in the Vedas, even though they speak of the Vedas.
Priests do not understand the meaning of the Brahman, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Vedic Gods hardly have any significance in present-day Hinduism. The Gods and Goddesses important to the Hindus of today are Ram, Krishna, Kali, Ganesh, Hanuman, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, and the respective consorts of the last three, namely, Saraswati, Lakshmi, and Shakti. None of these deities figured prominently in the Vedic pantheon, and some of them are clearly non-Vedic.
Yajur Veda indicates that:~
They sink deeper in darkness than those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example, table, chair, idol, etc, Yajurveda 40:9)
Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God, are enveloped in still greater darkness; in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." (Yajurveda 40:9.)
Why worship and glorify the non-Vedic Gods in place of the Vedic God when the Veda bars such activities, and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.
God exists prior to form, time, and space. The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is the real God. Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.
The real God is stolen by ignorance, and people worship ignorance as God.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare that “God is the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself, then why accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman? : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

It is very much necessary to realize the Self is not yourself because yourself is the ego and the real Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.+

Do not try to get rid of the ego; you will never succeed. You cannot get rid of the ego when yourself is the ego. You must know what this ego is supposed to be in actuality.

It is very much necessary to realize that the Self is not yourself because yourself is the ego, and the real Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
You cannot get rid of the ego alone. You, ego, and the world in which you exist appear together and disappear together. You are the ego. The ego is the basis of the world in which you exist. The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance.
The ego, body, and the world appear as the waking experience. The waking experience is a dualistic illusion.
Till you think your body, ego, and the world are separate from each other, you will remain in ignorance of the ‘Self’.
Remember, your body, ego, and the world in which you exist are created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
People talk of getting rid of the ego, but it is impossible to get rid of the ego. The ego is the very basis of form, time, and space. Without the ego, form, time, and space cease to exist. Without the form, time, and space, the world in which we exist ceases to exist.
Thus, a perfect understanding of ‘what is what' is required to get rid of ignorance. Without getting rid of ignorance, the form, time, and space prevail as a reality.
One has to get rid of ignorance, not the ego, because the ego is the product of ignorance.
Get rid of the ignorance by realizing that the ‘Self is not you, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Brhadaranyakopanishad :~ Atman is this imperishable.+

Brhadaranyakopanishad 3.8.8:~ Atman is this imperishable. Atman is not large not small not short, not long, not red-brown colored, not oily, not shadowy, not dark, not air, not akasha, not attached, without taste, without odor, without eyes, without ears, without speech, without mind, not lustrous, without breath, without voice, without measure, without interior, without exterior. It does not eat anything, and it is not eaten by anything."
Without knowing what the Self is in actuality, what is the use of saying ‘I am that. It is impossible to be the Self without realizing the Self is not you, but the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
You and the world in which you exist belong to the dualistic illusion. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ hides the invisible Soul, the Self.
You are born, live, and die within the illusory world. You are the birth entity. You are not the Self, because the Self is the invisible Soul, which is birthless and deathless.
The Self is not an individual, but the Self is the invisible Soul; therefore, the individual experience of birth, life, and death and the world has nothing to do with the invisible Soul, the Self, which is birthless, deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
From the dualistic perspective, the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is reality, whereas from the non-dualistic perspective, the individual experience of birth, life, death, and the world is an illusion.
When the world in which you exist is created out of the Self, which is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, then whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is bound to be consciousness.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe, is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Gaudapada says that the practice of Yoga is like emptying the mind like drying the ocean drop by drop with a blade of grass.+

Yogavashista has the term Yoga in it; it is not Patanjala Yoga, and we don’t find any concept or stanzas that are in Patanjala Yoga
Though Gaudapada Karikas about the Yoga, Sage Gaudapada says that the practice of Yoga is like emptying the mind, like drying the ocean drop by drop with a blade of grass.
Ashtavakra says: - "This is your bondage, that you practice Samadhi or meditation.”
Remaining thoughtless in the waking experience is Yogic Samadhi. Yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom.
Brih Upanishad: page 32. "Yoga does not yield truth or liberation."
One who is in Samadhi will not realize that this universe is consciousness; therefore, yoga is not the means to Self-knowledge, or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
In Samadhi, the yogi knows nothing, sees no universe; so if there is nothing but blankness. The blankness is not the Advaitic wisdom.
The yogi does not know the nature of the universe. If the universe is not seen in the Samadhi, then there is no need to use the words Atman and Brahman.
The yogi is unaware of the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
By shutting his eyes in Samadhi, the Yogi does not know the universe that confronts him. Hence, the universe can't be known as the Soul or the consciousness through yoga.
One is in a non-dual condition in deep sleep or Samadhi, one without a second, true, but he did not know it at the time. He says only in the waking experience afterward. Hence, there must be an inquiry so that you find non-duality whilst you are awake, so that you can see nonduality at the time, not afterward. Hence, too, the need to inquire into the nature of the universe and know it as the Soul or consciousness whilst one is awake, and not during sleep or Samadhi.

Advaitic truth is the ultimate truth. Yogis, Mystics, and religious teachers do not accept the path of wisdom because it pries into the truth, the source, and the validity of the knowledge they claim. Therefore, it is the most troublesome part of the study of the Advaita. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Self- realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.+

Swami Vivekananda: ~Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First: hearing the truth--that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second: reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16
Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies, and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.
Sage Sankara's declaration: ~ “Brahman is the truth, the world is unreal, everything is truly Brahman, and nothing else has any value.
Thus, the Advaitic orthodoxy is nothing to do with the Advaitic truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Bhagavad Gita:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived-That alone is known as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad Chapter I:~ That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived-That alone is known as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object-That alone is known as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Jesus said: - Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created out of consciousness through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the invisible Soul, the Self, from the cage of the dualistic illusion.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.
Swami Vivekananda said:~ "The Vedas teach that the Soul is divine, only held in the bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from death and misery."
The truth is very simple, but it is difficult to grasp due to ignorance. You have to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
I can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth repeatedly until it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until one gets a firm conviction of 'what is what'. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.

People need to read and hear the words of wisdom to think, reason, and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the invisible Soul, the Self, to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Without knowing what is mind people talk of destroying the mind.+

Without knowing what this mind is, people talk of destroying the mind. People are stuck thinking the mind is within their body, and theorize and write books speculating and creating their own theory.

A deeper self-search reveals that the ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. And the mind is in the form of the universe. And the universe appears as the waking or the dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Self-realization is necessary to realize that the mind, which is present in the form of the universe, is merely an illusion.
The mind cannot be destroyed because it is merely an illusion.
When Advaitic wisdom dawns, the unreal nature of the mind is exposed, in the same way the unreal nature of the dream was exposed when the waking takes place.
I am highlighting all the obstacles in the inner journey and how to overcome these obstacles. All accumulated knowledge is of no use in the path of wisdom.
It is for every seeker, who is in the path of wisdom, to realize himself “What is the truth? “and “What is untruth?” to assimilate the Self–Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
My postings are only signposts. The seeker needs to reflect constantly on the subject till the cobwebs of his doubts and confusions get cleared.

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
