The Soul is the subjective reality. The universe is the objective reality.+

Ish Upanishad declares ~ “Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide.
Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide, as it were, are doomed to enter those worlds after death. This is a condemnation of people who do not try to attain Self-knowledge.
We think of our practical life within the practical world as a reality but it is not so, because the universe in which we exist is an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The invisible Soul is the subjective reality. The universe is the objective reality. The universe is an object to the Soul, which is a formless subject.
That subjective experience need not be proved or disproved. However, all the confusion it created was because of ignorance of the subject hidden by the object. This ignorance can be removed by Advaitic wisdom.
The world in which we exist is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
The invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, cannot be negated, and that which is beyond contradiction.
The dualistic reality is limited to form, time, and space. From the Standpoint of the Soul, the form, time and space are one in essence.
Until ignorance is there, the form, time, and space prevail as a reality. Ignorance will prevail till you hold the Self as the ‘I’.
If there is no ‘I’, then there is only the invisible Soul, the witness of the coming and going of the ‘I’.
You have got stuck up with the Gurus and their ‘I’ based teaching. You will never be able to cross the prison of the ‘I’ because you are immersed in worshipping the Gurus instead of completing your journey.
Such worship, devotion, and reverence to Gurus will never allow you to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
‘I’ is the cause of all contradiction, whereas the truth you are seeking is beyond all contradictions. The invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is infinite.
There are two dimensions of reality. The dualistic and nondualistic reality does not mean they are two orders of reality. There are only two perspectives. Whatever that is, it is real and is unaffected by our views.
The dualistic reality is merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the non-dualistic reality.
The invisible Soul, the Self, is caught up in ignorance; it encounters the dualistic illusion (form, time, and space). However, the invisible Soul, in reality, is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. The invisible Soul is infinite. The infinite Self is perceived as limited to form, time, and space.
The illusory form, time, and space are superimposed on the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
In Atmic reality, the form, time, and space are made of the same clay, which is consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal, and the form, time, and space are merely an illusion.
You are being an individual-in-the-world, you are unaware that the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is the cause of the world in which you exist. Thus, the invisible Soul, the Self, is not an individual because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
The invisible Soul is originally a pure, transcendental consciousness; it is taken; it is due to ignorance that hides the invisible Soul, the Self, that the individual fails to see the nexus between the invisible Soul and the world in which he exists.
That nexus indicates the oneness underlying the subject-object, inner-outer distinctions. All that is required is to remove the error, and the Soul will shine on its own accord.
The water in the pond is clear and undisturbed. One can see the bottom of the pond through its still water. When, however, pebbles are thrown into the pond, the water in it is disturbed and the bottom of the pond becomes no longer visible. That bottom, however, is there all the time, and it remains unchanged, no matter whether the surface water is disturbed or not. The water in the pond is the transactional world. The bottom of the pond is the transcendental reality. The disturbance created is ignorance.
The seeker has to mentally recognize the subjective and objective reality. The objective reality is merely an illusion of subjective reality.
The objective reality never exists from the standpoint of subjective reality. The subjective reality is the fullness of consciousness.
Objective reality is merely an illusory division of form, time, and space created on subjective reality.
The objective reality is a superimposition over the subjective reality. The objective reality (world) seems real, but it actually is unreal.
The superimposition of the illusory form, time, and space on the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the cause of ignorance.
When ignorance is removed through Advaitic wisdom than the illusory division of form, time, and space never again prevail as a reality, in the same way as the dream never becomes a reality when waking takes place.
The superimposition of the illusory form, time, and space becomes one with the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
By constantly repeating ‘I THAT” ‘I AM THIS Who AM ‘I, without realizing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality, ignorance becomes more and more deep-rooted, then it becomes impossible to come out of the intoxication of the ‘I’.

The invisible Soul is not ‘I’, but the Soul is the witness of the ‘I’. The ‘I’, which appears and disappears, is not permanent. The invincible Soul is eternal. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Soul, the Self is existence itself. The Soul, the Self is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.+

The invisible Soul, the Self, is existence itself. The invisible Soul, the Self, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Sage Sankara says:~ VC-65- As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman.
Your urge is at the seed level. As you go on reading the words of wisdom, it will start growing. It takes time for the egocentric subconscious to accept the Soulcentric truth.
The seeker has to discard all 'I-centric' and 'you-centric’ Gurus and their teaching to realize the Self, which is hidden by ignorance.
Advaitic Truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance.
There is no need to search for the truth because the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman, or God in truth.
Only when the conviction of the invisible and unborn Soul becomes firm then only you will be able to accept that the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness.
You have to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus. You and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness. They cease to exist without consciousness. You have to think and reason deeply
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what,’ leads to a perfect conviction of ‘What is truth?” and ‘What is the untruth? Perfect conviction of the truth leads to Advaitic Self-awareness.
A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until one gets a firm conviction of what is what.
Words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.
People need to read and hear the words, to think, reason, and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
Although the Path is very difficult and the Goal seems so unreachable, don't worry, because there is no other path other than the Atmic path to help you to reach the ultimate end.
The Atmic path, with its emphasis on the Advaitic wisdom, is meant for those who wish to go beyond form, time, and space.
Only through deeper self-search do beginners and intermediates gradually become aware of ‘what is what’.
Only after they have realized that the Self is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, they are ready for the inner journey towards reality, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Upanishad: ~ “They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of Atman. The ordinary man does not understand their way. (Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana 95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada)
If you are seeking truth, you have to know that the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Sage Sankara says the world is an illusion; it includes birth, life, and death, which happen within the world. Thus, the seeker's main aim is to mentally trace the formless substance of the illusion, which is also the witness of the illusion.
Sage Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam, says: ~ (Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena) - One without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.
Thus, it proves that religion is not the means to Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Because Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is universal knowledge meant for humanity. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, does not belong to any religion.

A Gnani is not concerned about the listener; he does not care whether his listener will understand or not. Only a Gnani can make such a pure expression of the truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

First, know the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.+

The Self is not you because you are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
The experience of birth, life, death, and the world has nothing to do with the invisible Soul, the Self.
When you are not the Self, then how can you relate the Self to your experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
When the invisible Soul wakes up with its own awareness, then you and your experience of the world become unreal, in the same way as the dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place.
If you imagine within the dream, it becomes unreal when the waking takes place.
Your imagination within the dream remains a reality until waking takes place. In the same way, your imagination within the waking remains reality till Advaitic wisdom dawns.
Advaitic Wisdom dawns when you realize you are not the Self, but the Self is the invisible and unborn Soul.
If you are not the Self, then your imagination has no value because you are the false Self within the illusion (waking).
When the Self is not you, then what is the use of dropping the ignorance? It is not you who has to drop the ignorance, but the invisible Soul, the Self, has to wake up from the sleep of ignorance.
When the invisible Soul, the Self, wakes up, then the world in which you exist ceases to exist as a reality.
The one that is born, lives, and dies is not the Self. Your birth and death happen within the world.
The world itself is the dualistic illusion or Maya created out of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
When the invisible Soul, the Self, is not limited to an individual, then what is the use of ‘Who am ‘I’? -inquiry.
What is the use of saying ‘I AM THIS’ and ‘I AM THAT’, without realizing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality?
WHO AM ‘I’? or I AM THAT- teachings are inadequate and useless to unfold the mystery of the universe.
For Self-realization, you must first know what this ‘Self’ is in actuality.
Remember this:~
The ‘I’-centric and you-centric Gurus and their teaching is not Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Unless you discard the ‘I’-centric and you-centric Gurus and their teaching, it is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
First, know what this Self is?
If something is true, is real, is constant, is a foundation of nature that is unchanging, this can be called the Self.
The invisible Soul, the Self, is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. The invisible Soul is a formless, timeless, spaceless, and eternal existence.
People have not penetrated the meaning of the Self. The meaning is that the ultimate truth is the Soul, the Self, which is eternal is existence.
You are impermanent because the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
People have not penetrated the meaning of the Self. The meaning is that the ultimate truth is the Self, which is eternal is existence.
You should not hold anything of the universe, which is a dualistic illusion, which is impermanence.
The world in which you exist makes you feel as though they are real, but ultimately it is merely an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, which is permanent.
You must cultivate to see the permanence (Soul) hidden by the impermanence (universe) as it is.
If you do this, you will be like one who sees a gem in the muddied water among the stones and rocks and waits for the water to settle before he skillfully plucks it out.
It is the same with cultivating the idea of the invisible Soul, the Self hidden by the dualistic illusion (universe) : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The truth-seeker has to reject the devotional path if he wants to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. The path of Bhakti is meant for the ignorant populace.+

Yoga Vasistha:~ "Teachers, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the heart, engendered from contact with the good."
Anybody can write a commentary on the Upanishads and other great philosophic texts; all they need to do to pour out words. Some westerners, along with some orthodox pundits, translated and published books.
The influence of Sage Sankara’s wisdom has nothing to do with orthodox belief systems.
Some philosophers in the past dissented from this interpretation of Vedanta philosophy, holding that the Incarnated Souls were separate from the Divine Essence and only finally merged with it after the cycles of birth.
All these theoretical philosophies are based on the imagination based on the false Self (ego or you) within the false experience (waking).
It is quite easy to do this even by those who have never understood the Upanishads but think they have.
Thus, the dualists and their disciples have written commentaries on scriptures, but all these have been written to satisfy themselves, not to get the truth, because all their interpretations are based on a dualistic perspective.
The truth will be revealed only when one can reason from a non-dualistic perspective.
Likewise, thinkers and poets of the Age of Devotion (Bhakti) of the 16th century believed in a God with attributes who became very tangible when incarnating as God and was attainable simply through love and devotion rather than scholastic and intellectual meditation.
For them, the Bhagavad Gita became the main vehicle of inspiration with its qualified and deistic Monism, rather than the scholastic and esoteric path shown by Sage Sankara.
The truth-seeker has to reject the devotional path if he wants to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. The path of Bhakti is meant for the ignorant populace.
The Vedas talk about Brahman, which refers to the ultimate truth or ultimate reality. Consciousness is the ultimate truth, therefore, consciousness is Brahman, and Brahman is God in truth.
Vedas do not permit idol worship. All the idols are of the Puranic Gods, priests are referring to the Puranic Brahma as God, they are ignorant of the God in the Vedas, even though they speak of the Vedas.
Priests do not understand the meaning of the Brahman, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.
The Vedas confirm that God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is the Supreme Spirit, has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
People who worship God based on blind belief are hallucinating that they become one with such God.
Vedas themselves say: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God, Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization is real worship.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshipper and the worshiped, whereas God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare that “God is the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself, then why accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Kabir: ~ There is nothing but water in the holy pools. I know, I have been swimming there. All the Gods sculpted of wood or ivory can’t say a word. I know, I have been crying out for them.+

Mundaka Upanishad 1.3:~ “Complete knowledge includes knowledge of the phenomenal world, the spirit behind it, and the source of both of them. When the cause of all causes becomes known, then everything knowable becomes known, and nothing remains unknown.”
Meher Baba: ~ "There is no higher or lower goal. There is only one goal, Self-Realization."
The Soul is the Self. The Self is God. The Soul remains in its own awareness, which we identify as deep sleep in the waking experience. The waking is the state of ignorance. When ignorance vanishes, then the Soul remains in its own awareness in the midst of duality (waking).
Man cannot see God (spirit), because man and the world in which he exists are the product of ignorance. Man cannot see God because God is prior to anything that exists.
When God in truth is present, then man and his world are absent. When man and his world are present, then God in truth is absent.
Meher Baba: ~ “When the reality appears, this ignorance which one thinks as reality becomes unreal.
Kabir: ~ There is nothing but water in the holy pools. I know, I have been swimming there. All the Gods sculpted of wood or ivory can’t say a word. I know, I have been crying out for them. The Sacred Books of the East are nothing but words. I looked through their covers one day sideways. What Kabir talks of is only what he has lived through. If you have not lived through something, it is not true.
When the Soul, the Self, stabilizes in its own awareness, then it will transcend the illusion of the form, time, and space and reveal its formless, timeless, and spaceless true nature.
The realization of Brahman is possible in this very life, not in the next life or next world. The serious and sincere seeker who has patience, humility, and an intense urge to know the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space, will be able to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman, pr God in truth.
One who has realized the ultimate truth or Brahman is a Gnani. A Gnani sees the world in which he exists as consciousness.
Allurus and paramparas belong to the orthodoxy. Orthodoxy has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom.
Identifying the Atman as Self is the most important in the Atmic path. Consciousness is the substratum in which the dualistic illusion is experienced. Consciousness is hidden by the dualistic illusion. Consciousness dwells in everything and everywhere in the universe, which is the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The Atman, the real Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness. The universe, which the dualistic illusion or Maya is nothing but consciousness, consciousness alone is real and eternal.
The Soul is the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth. The Soul is in the form of consciousness.
The Soul is the self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Soul because it is the very essence of the one who denies it.

The Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (spirit), is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God in truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic orthodoxy is nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace.+

Advaitic orthodoxy has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom. Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace.

According to Advaita Vedanta, the Veda addresses itself to two kinds of audiences –
1, “The ordinary ones who desire the transitory heaven and other pleasures obtained as a result of ritual sacrifices”.
2, “The advanced seekers who seek to know the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.”
Thus, the Purva mimam. sa, with its emphasis on the karma kanda of the Vedas, is meant for the first audience, to help lead its followers along the way. However, the Vedanta, with its emphasis on the jnana kanda, is meant for those who wish to go beyond form, time, and space.
Thus, those who are seeking truth have to discard the Theological Advaita without mercy to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The Advaitic orthodoxy is based on the birth entity. The one that is born lives and dies in the world is not the Self.
Sage Sankara says the world is an illusion, Brahman alone is real, and Atman is Brahman.
Thus, it proves that the world in which birth and death happen is merely an illusion.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the cause of the world as reality.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth.
Orthodoxy is the path of ignorance. And ignorant worship mechanically performs the prescribed sacrifices without any thought as to why they are doing them.
That is why the Ish Upanishads says:~ such people, no wonder they grope in the dark. They are doomed unless someday the truth dawns on them that to save themselves, they must seek Self-knowledge.
The Advaitic orthodoxy is conduct-oriented and tries to prove the truth on the base of scriptural authorities, whereas the ultimate truth is based on the Soul, the Self.
The religion, concept of God, and scriptures are the greatest obstacles to acquiring Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The scriptural knowledge fuels the ego. And ego makes one experience the duality as reality.
Duality makes one blind to the truth and makes one accept the egocentric theories based on the false self as an authority. The ultimate truth has to be proved without the scriptures.
The Advaitic Orthodoxy holds the caste, religious rites, God, and glorifying the Gurus, scriptural studies, virtues, good deeds, and physical conduct as the means to acquire the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The Advaitic orthodoxy believes in the worship of non-Vedic Gods barred by the Vedas.
The Vedas confirm that God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.
Prohibition of idol worship in Yajurveda: ~
Yajur Veda – chapter- 32:~ God is the Supreme Spirit, has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions.
Yajurveda: ~ There is no image of God in truth. God in truth is unborn and eternal. (Chapter 32, Verse 3)
Yajurveda: ~ God in truth is nondual and pure.
Yajurveda: ~ "They are entering darkness, those who worship the natural things (like air, water, fire, etc.), they are sinking more in darkness who worship created things." (Chapter 40, Verse 9)
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Yajurveda: ~ "They are entering darkness, those who worship the natural things (like air, water, fire, etc.), they are sinking more in darkness who worship created things." (Chapter 40, Verse 9)
Remember:~
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth. Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal, and all else is an illusion.
Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth. The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.
As per the Ish Upanishad: ~ those who worship Gods and Goddesses go into deeper darkness because they seek rewards for their worship.
That is why Sage Goudpada says:~ The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.
This clearly indicates that religion, which is based on individual conduct, prescribes karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, therefore, religion is for the lower intellect. And wisdom is for those who are capable of inquiring into their own existence. :~Santthosh Kumaar

If one is seeking the truth, then he has to be free from all the religious beliefs and dogmas. Religion is based on the ego (you), whereas, the ultimate truth is based on the Soul, the Self. +

Religion is meant for the ignorant populace who are incapable of grasping the truth, which is hidden by form, time, and space.

Spirituality is meant for the serious seekers of truth who want to realize the truth hidden by illusory form, time, and space.

Never mix spirituality with religion. Religion is based on the ego, whereas spirituality is based on the invisible Soul, the Spirit, or God in truth.

The religious Gurus are meant to inject morals and ethics and guide the ignorant populace in the human society live with love and harmony.

People who rebelled against the religion are merely intellectual speculators. They are not serious about realizing the truth. They are more interested in showing their intellectual acrobatics with the information collected from whatever they have read and heard. Such accumulated knowledge is not the means to realize the truth, which is hidden by ignorance.

Condemning religion and its Gurus and Gods will help the seeker to get rid of ignorance.

It is better to educate the crowd to realize what God suppose to be in actuality according to their own scriptures.

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the politicians as useful.

Religion has nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman, or God in truth.

Remember:~

If one is seeking the truth, then he has to be free from all the religious beliefs and dogmas. Religion is based on the ego (you), whereas, the ultimate truth is based on the Soul, the Self.

Whatever is based on the ego is an illusion, and whatever is based on the Soul is the ultimate reality or Brahman. Thus, religion has to be bifurcated from spirituality to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.

There is no use in condemning religion. But one has to highlight how they cause hindrance and becomes an obstacle in the pursuit of truth.

There is no need to rebel against religion, but to realize that religion is based on the false self within the false experience,e whereas spirituality or Adyathma is based on the Soul, the Self.

Religion makes humanity remain in ignorance of the reality of their true existence with its beliefs, superstitions, and dogmas, the ideas of heaven, hell, sin, karma, and rebirth.

Heaven is the abode of physicalized Gods, where one goes after death, rebirth, and karma theories based on the birth entity, which is the false self within the illusory world.

For those ignorant who believe their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, think that the effect of action done in previous births, as the Prarabdha in this birth, but for the realized one the present birth, life, death and the world itself is an illusion because they have realized the fact that, waking experience itself is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Heaven, the abode of physicalized Gods, where one goes after death, rebirth, and karma theories based on the birth entity, which is the false self within the illusory world.

When Vedas and Upanishads give clear-cut ideas of what God is supposed to be then all these Gods and Goddesses which people worship have no value from the ultimate standpoint.

Religious Gods are based on blind faith or belief. Belief is not God. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul, the Self, is the center of all that exists.

Without the invisible Soul, the world in which you exist ceases to exist, which means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Vedic God is Spirit. The Spirit, which is God in truth, is present in the form of the Atman (Soul). The Spirit, which is God in truth, is present in the form of consciousness.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is the Supreme Spirit, has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Even the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Remember:~

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

No mantras help to get rid of ignorance. All the mantras and rituals are meant for the ignorant populace, which strongly believes, the world in which it exists as a reality. For one who wants to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the mantras will not help to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+
