A great majority of Hindus are not in contact with their religious history therefore, they believe their inherited blind beliefs as ultimate truth.+

As we peep into the religious history of India. A great majority of Hindus are not in contact with their religious history; therefore, they believe their inherited beliefs as ultimate truth.
Hinduism is based on myths, and thus, the people of India are unaware of their inherited religious history.
The Vedic Culture and Vedas are complete in themselves, but Hinduism, which is a non-Vedic belief system with all its ritual and conduct-oriented practices, has been contributed largely by the orthodox priests to suit their convenience!
Vedas are in the Vedic language, which was a high-class language. Rig Veda (excluding chapters II and X) was written before the Christian Era in the Vedic language. Vedic language is not Sanskrit. It is the same language in which the Zoroastrian Scripture Zend Avesta is written – a form of the Persian language. All the other scriptures of India are written in Sanskrit.
These include Rig Veda Chapter II and X and the Upanishads, Brahmanas, Puranas, and the Vedantas. These were written during the Christian Era after the Thomas ministry. As the use of this language diminished, it became a tough language for the commoners. The priests, who were supposed to be experts in this language, translated it into the Sanskrit language and manipulated the meanings over time, and gradually, all the practices changed.

The DaVita, Vedanta borrows the concept from Abrahamic religions, such as Eternal Damanation (of certain Souls destined to hell forever), which goes against the belief of most Vedanta schools, which states that the Soul attains liberation.
It looks like the creator-creation theory is also borrowed from the Abrahamic religion, and on the base a new belief system has been introduced, giving it a Vedic outlook and propagating all non-Vedic rituals and worship by someone in the past.
The vast ocean of Vedic religion or Santana Dharma was consistently steady and calm for a very long period. It appears that as a consequence of the rage of the Buddhist revolution, it got suddenly disturbed and flowed down to us in disorder.
Even today, Vedic religion or Santana Dharma has not recovered from the onslaught of Buddhism and Jainism and is not able to settle in people's hearts in its original form in the same old measure.
Hinduism indulges non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatry, ancestor worship, pilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability, and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanction, therefore, Hinduism is not an Ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.
All Hindu Gods are non-Vedic Gods. The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is the Supreme Spirit, has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
The Vedas exclaim from time immemorial: ~
Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti, Existence is One Rig Veda, 1-164-146.
God in truth is one and universal.
God in truth is the Spirit. The Spirit is the Soul, the Self. God is the Soul, the Self. The Soul is the Supreme Being, the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness and intelligence, which is beyond form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe in a variety of ways through diverse words.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)
The Upanishads say in effect that ~ If you believe that the Soul is one and God (Brahman) is another, you cannot understand Truth.
Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God, there is no truth."
The religion advocates extreme asceticism. Asceticism is a waste of time. Religion is nothing but remaining in a false belief, dogmas, and superstition.
Mundaka Upanishad:~ The rituals and the sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. ... Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and death. Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of samsara on these poor rafts.
Ignorant of their own ignorance, yet wise in their own esteem, these deluded men, proud of their vain learning, go round and round like the blind led by the blind.
Sage Sankara says ~ “The scriptures dealing with rituals, rewards are therefore addressed to an ignorant person. Thus, the rituals are meant for ignorant people.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
~ this shows he was wearing the religious robe only for the sake of bread." Thus, it means those who are wearing the religious robe for the sake of bread.
All the rituals based on the false belief of Gods will not yield any fruits, and they are meant for the ignorant populace who are unable to grasp the God beyond form, time, and space.
One of Sage Sankara’s missions was to wean people away from a ritualistic approach advocated by Mimamsakas and to project wisdom (jnana) as the means of liberation in the light of Upanishad teachings.
Sage Sankara criticized severely the ritualistic attitude and those who advocated such practices. However, the orthodox texts that combined rituals with wisdom (jnana_karma_samucchaya), more in favor of the Mimamsaka position, came into vogue, projecting Sage Sankara as the rallying force of the doctrine.
Supreme Court of India:~ Hinduism, as a religion, incorporates all forms of belief without mandating the selection or elimination of any one single belief. “ It is a religion that has no single founder, no single scripture, and no single set of teachings. It has been described as Santana Dharma, namely, eternal faith, as it is the collective wisdom and inspiration of the centuries that Hinduism seeks to preach and propagate,” ---Hinduism has no single founder or scripture: SC, The Times of India (Delhi) Dec 17, 2015
The Vedic system did not have a caste system. The caste system was a fake creation in the name of Hinduism. This non-Vedic belief system called Hinduism creates hatred in the lower caste Hindus for the higher caste.
Conclusion: ~ Sage Sankara gave ritual, karma, and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, which is followed by the Hindus of today, is dualistic. Many founders of sects and castes, and groups of Hinduism were introduced with different scriptures, different non-Vedic Gods and Goddesses, and rituals.
Hinduism has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom, which is nondualistic. Those who want to acquire self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana have to drop all the non-Vedic beliefs, which are a hindrance on the path of wisdom.
Sage Sankara's wisdom has nothing to do with Hinduism. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is the pure Vedic essence of the Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.
This information is for the seekers of truth to help them drop what is not needed to acquire Self-knowledge, or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is no higher goal other than Self-realization. Self-realization itself is God-realization.+

Belief in religions, religious gods, castes, and sects has become a cause of concern to humanity. Religion divides humanity and breeds hatred, violence, wars, and terrorism.

Religions, castes, sects, dogmas, creeds, doctrines, and rituals are all hindrances in the path of Truth. The truth is all-pervading and infinite.
Religion is not based on truth it renders no help to find the truth, which is hidden by the illusion of form, time, and space. Truth does not belong to any religion.
Churches, temples, and mosques have nothing to do with the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space, because they are based on belief.
To attain the ultimate Truth, the seeker has to get rid of all obstacles by a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.
Religion belongs to the ignorant populace. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion.
People must get prepared to accept the truth, which was hidden by the religion they belong to. The falsity of the religion has to be exposed so that people will be able to realize the Truth of their true existence.
There is no higher goal other than Self-realization. Self-realization itself is God-realization.
Gurus and yogis provide only a superficial understanding of Advaita; it is dry knowledge. One must realize God by realizing the world in which he exists is an illusion created out of the Soul, which is God in truth.
The shortest, quickest way to the realization of Advaitic truth is to realize the world in which we exist is nothing but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God or Advaita. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Realize the universe is created out of a single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness.+

There is nothing to realize other than realizing that you and the world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is the invisible Soul, the Self. The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
You and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness. Realizing this truth, the Soul becomes free from the cage of the illusory form, time, and space.
Realize the universe is created out of a single stuff and that single stuff is consciousness. There is only a need for a perfect understanding of ‘what is what?’
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to study the scriptures to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why do you indulge in studying the scriptures?
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why do you indulge in yoga?
Sage Sankara says the transparent truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman (Gnani)
~ then why stick to a Guru who is not a Gnani.
Advaitic Wisdom is not the result of yoga or scriptural study.
Until you hold the Self as the ‘I’, you will never be able to get Self-realization. ‘I’ hides the invisible Soul, which is the Self.
'I’ is ignorance.
‘I’ is the duality.
‘I’ is the form, time, and space.
‘I’ is the universe.
‘I’ is the waking.
‘I’ is the dream.
‘I’ is the illusion.
‘I’ is the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
But remember:~
Without the ‘I’, there is no ignorance.
Without the ‘I’, there is no duality.
Without the ‘I’, there is no form, time, or space.
Without the ‘I’, there is no universe.
Without the ‘I’, there is no waking.
Without the ‘I’, there is no dream.
Without the ‘I’, there is no illusion.
Without the ‘I’, there is no experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole. The ‘I’ hides the truth.
That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say ‘I', if you feel the Self is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.
Bhagvad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
It is time to discard the ‘I’. Never use the word ‘I’ or I AM for the Self.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People who hold the Vedas and Upanishads as their authority have to make sure what is God according to the Vedas and Upanishads.+

First, the Hindus who hold the Vedas and Upanishads as their authority have to make sure what God is according to the Vedas and Upanishads, then drop all the non-Vedic Gods and non-Vedic rituals and beliefs.

Vedas and Upanishads confirm that the Soul, the Self, is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness. There is a clear-cut idea of God in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Bhagavad Gita. And also, there is a clear-cut idea of what not to worship as God in place of the real God. Thus, it proves from a Vedic perspective that the Puranic Gods are not Vedic Gods.

Mythological stories are a myth. Mythological Gods are a myth. Worshipping mythological heroes as God produces only myth. There is a need to realize ‘what God is supposed to be in actuality. Religion has been very influential.

Mythology is a synthesis. They are more concerned with synthesis than with truth. The attraction for synthesis is so strong that people accept it blindly without verifying their validity. Mythology is a hodgepodge containing everything; hence, it suits everyone because there is something in it for everyone. It is difficult to find any tradition whose voice is not found in the mythology. It is difficult to find anyone who does not take solace from mythology. But for such people, Self’-Realization will prove very difficult Vedas say never accept another God in place of the Atman, nor worship other than the Atman.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

The Bible says: ~ God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in Spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the invisible Soul, the Self.

The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there.

Even the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself. The

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Religious Gods are not really God. One must know God in truth.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth..The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost ‘Self’. In reality, there is no duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

There is a clear-cut idea of God in the Vedas, Upanishads, and Bhagavad Gita. And also, there is a clear-cut idea of what not to worship as God in place of the real God. Thus, it proves from the Vedic perspective that the Puranic Gods are not Vedic Gods.

Vedas says never to accept another God in place of the Atman, nor worship other than the Atman. Hindus assert their religion is monotheistic, even though they honor many Gods, including Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver, and Shiva the Destroyer. Hindus claim these various Gods are all manifestations of the oneness of the universe.

Hindu religious practices vary from place to place, but they frequently include yoga, physical and mental discipline to harmonize body and the Soul, and ritual bathing. Belief in multiple Gods, the worship of idols and worship of images that are not God, the worship of sacred images, ancestor worship, pilgrimage, priestcraft, the belief in avatars or incarnations of God, the hereditary caste system, because all these lack Vedic sanction.

Hinduism indulges non-Vedic beliefs such as idolatry, ancestor worship, pilgrimages, priestcraft, offerings made in temples, the caste system, untouchability, and child marriages. All these lack Vedic sanctions, therefore, Hinduism is not an ancient Vedic religion or Santana Dharma.

Religious Gods are not God in truth. One must know God in truth. Those who are seeking truth have to discard inherited beliefs. There is no need to criticize their inherited religion but it is for the seekers to realize the religion is meant for the ignorant people who are unable to grasp the real God.

Thus, it is necessary to realize what is God according to Vedas, Upanishads, and Bhagavad Gita for their own personal information. Many Gods and Goddesses with different forms and names are not of the Santana Dharma or veridic religion.

The Vedic God is Atma. The Atma is the innermost ‘Self’, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Until you discard religion and yoga, you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is hidden by dualistic illusion or Maya.+

People in India identify Advaita and Dvaita as their religious traditions inherited from their ancestors. No one questions their validity because it is considered blasphemy to question their religion, their Guru, and Godmen or the pundits.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is pure spirituality. Advaitic wisdom has nothing to do with religion and yoga, and philosophies. All Advaitic teachings of the Gurus of the East and West are not the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

Advaita is universal. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom.

Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita.

Until you discard religion, you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is hidden by dualistic illusion or Maya.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self shines in its own awareness when wisdom dawns.

The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. Advaita is the nature of God, the Self.

The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe.

From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there.

People who are attached to their religious code of conduct and trying to preach Advaita, that is mixing the individual life, and the concept of God and all mixed up hotchpotch religious doctrine and feed the seeking people are themselves not aware of the fact that the individuality and their worldly life is part of the illusion.

Religion is based on blind belief as truth, whereas Spirituality or Adyathma is based on the Athma, the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Religion should be discarded to realize the real God hidden by ignorance. Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the political class as useful.

Religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

The religion is based on the false self (ego) and false experience (world); thus, all religious beliefs are a falsehood.

Everyone likes religion because it belongs to the world of sentiments and emotions. Religion changes as it appeals to different emotions.

One will find at one pole the nude Sadhu is admired; at the other, the gorgeous life-styled Godman is revered. Belief in religious prohibitions arises out of fear of God's punishment.

The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an autosuggestion. To say that one knows God exists always implies that he must also exist always. It would be correct to say at this point, he does not know about the existence of God because God's existence depends on the individualized belief

People magnify every minor coincidence or every petty fact where yogis or Good men were concerned, and they see the miraculous or esoteric significance therein.

Religion is a believer's truth; Spirituality is Truth for the seeker of truth.” This means a believer takes his feeling of truth, whereas the seeker of truth takes his reasoned judgment, which will be the same under test everywhere in the universe.

The position of the seeker of truth is this: he has not seen God. He does not know his capacities, what God can do, and what God cannot do. Therefore, any statement he might make about God would only be a lie.

The seeker of truth does not wish to tell a lie. Therefore, he does not accept God nor deny Him; he simply refuses to make any statement about God.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes. Belief in such concocted Gods is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth. The man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an autosuggestion.

Prayers and sacrifices belong to a premature stage of development. When no answers come to prayers to their religious God based on blind faith, then the doubt arises about the existence of such a God.

Belief in religion weakens as the man pays more attention to the facts of his practical life within the practical world.

People who argue that truth is only in their religion are vain logicians based on mere ideas, imaginations. Religions that say "If one follows the religion they will go to heaven, while others “go to hell," are stories invented on the base of false Self within the false experience.

Religious truth is not the ultimate truth because it always shows a contradiction. A contradiction arises because a different person's interpretation may disagree with others.

Remember:~

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Sage Sankara said:~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Rituals, prayers, and ceremonies of different religions and cults are not a tool for Self-realization. They keep one in the cage of ignorance.

Attachment to the rigid devotion to the religious beliefs of God limits one to thinking within the framework of the illusory division of form, time, and space.

Diverse beliefs of religion and their diverse ideas of God create divisions between one religion and another.

The rituals and ceremonies become an obstacle in realizing that the religious God one believes and worships is not God in truth. Religion becomes an obstacle to realizing the real God hidden by ignorance.

The seeker of truth is keener to realize the Self hidden by the dualistic illusion. The seeker of truth has only one desire and longing — that of union with the Soul or God in truth.

A seeker is never entangled in the religion, rituals, yoga, and physical Gurus, and never allows himself to be overpowered by any attachment, emotions, and sentiment

The rituals mentioned in the karmakanda of the Vedas are sought to be negated in the jnanakanda, which is also part of the same scripture. While the karmakanda enjoins upon you the worship of various deities and lays down rules for the same, the jnanakanda, constituted by the Upanishads, ridicules the worshipper of deities as a dim-witted person no better than a beast.

This seems strange, the latter part of the Vedas contradicting the former part. The first part deals throughout with karma, while the second or concluding part is all about jnana. Owing to this difference, people have gone so far as to divide our scripture into two sections: the Vedas (that is, the first part) to mean the karmakanda, and the Upanishads (Vedanta) to mean the jnanakanda.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse -20)

Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the true nature of the Universal Essence, which is the Soul, the ultimate truth, or Brahman or God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships Self as~ Atman (God) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare.

Sage Sankara:~ VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Remember:~

Religious Gods are based on blind belief. God, based on blind belief, is not God in truth.

The religious God cannot be considered as the cause of the universe because the invisible Soul, the Self, is the cause of the universe.

Without the invisible Soul, the world in which you exist ceases to exist; it means the religious Gods are dependent on the universe for their existence. The universe is dependent on the invisible Soul for its existence. God in truth is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Brahmano hi pratisthaham” ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Even the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed the Atman itself.

Religious Gods are based on blind faith. Religious God cannot be considered as the center because the Soul, the Self, is the center of all that exists. Without the invisible Soul, the world in which you exist ceases to exist; it means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence.

Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

No mantras help to get rid of ignorance. All the mantras and rituals are meant for the ignorant populace, which strongly believes, the world in which it exists as a reality. For one who wants to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, the mantras will not help to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

That is why Sage Sankara:~ VC~.61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Sage Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying, “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya.

As indicated in ISH Upanishads: ~ “By worshipping Gods and Goddesses, you will go after death to the world of Gods and Goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spent there is wasted because if you were not there, you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of Gods and Goddesses, you cannot do that, and thus, you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

It clearly indicates that: -If the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge, then why indulge in rituals and glorify the conceptual Gods, Goddesses, and Gurus to go into deeper darkness. Instead, spend that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is one’s prime goal. :~Santthosh Kumaar

All religions survive on myths Religious myth hides God in truth. The rationalists would be on the more solid ground if they attack myths of all religion.

All religions survive on myths. The rationalists would be on more solid ground if they attacked myths of all religions.

Religion is a prison of ignorance. People who follow it are locked up in ignorance. God in truth is not what people believe and worship. The belief or faith-based is not God in truth.
Religious Gods are Mythical Gods based on blind belief. Whatever is based on Blind belief or faith is a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely a superstition.
Mythological stories are a myth. Whatever is based on myth is merely a superstition.
Mythology was introduced in the past for the ignorant masses. It has to be discarded as one progresses in their spiritual advancement.
Mythology breeds superstition, blind belief, and senseless rituals and most irrational and gives them a divine outlook.
Religious Gods are not God in truth. One must know God in truth.
The Puranas are based on the false idea of a personal God because the writers have thought of God as a glorified man or woman.
The translations made till now of Indian philosophical works have represented religion and mythology, not philosophy.
The greatest pundits do not understand it, for they do not understand science. What has this mythological teaching done for India? Look at its state today. Look at the conversions.
Imagining that God has ashes on his forehead or blazing like the sun-- that is all poetry and depends only on faith.
All the Siddhantas are dualistic, unphilosophical introduced by the founders of the different sects of Hinduism.
The religious Saints culled some passages from the Upanishads with convenient vagueness to establish their God and Theology.
Indians are more religious than other people in the world. The six systems of Indian Philosophy are really six systems of Indian speculation. For there is only one Truth.
The ancient Hindu tenet borrowed by theosophists of the universe appearing and dissolving, days and nights of Brahma, entering into pralaya, etc., is intended for mediocre intellects who cannot rise to the truth. It is a convenient fable representing the philosophic truth that the whole universe dissolves in your mind in deep sleep, thus entering pralaya, and rises again the next morning, i.e., it is all imagination, idea. The Brahma-God has nothing to do with it.
Unfortunately, every religion is attacking the other, considering them to be a myth. The only way out is to unfold the mystery of existence.
Many paths and theories, and practices make one confused about which path and practice to use because each one of them claims to get the truth. Everyone tries this and that still one is unable to unfold the mystery. The mystery of existence becomes a distant dream.
Religious truth is individual truth, and it is not universal truth because religion is based on individuality. Spiritual truth is the universal truth.
There is no scope for individuality in the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman. In the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman, the form, time, and space are one in essence. The essence is formless consciousness (Soul), the ‘Self’. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal, and all else is mere illusion.
The scriptures give much advice and remedies, and each of them claims to be infallible. It is high time for a shift in his attention from all the theories and practices which are based on the physical ‘Self’ and indulge in ‘Self ’- analysis, and discover the facts of his own existence.
Yoga Vasistha:~ "Teachers, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the heart, engendered from contact with the good."
The only way to unfold the mystery of existence is a deeper Self-search helps the seeker of the truth to discover and realize the true facts of his true existence through deeper self-search without the help of religion, glorifying Gods, scriptural studies, or yogic practice.
When the seeker realizes the facts of his true existence then realizes that the Self is not ‘I’ but the ‘I’ is the mind, which is present in the form of the universe.
The waking experience is a dualistic illusion. Thus, the seeker realizes that whatever he believed and experienced as a reality on the base of the ‘I’ is an illusion. The Self is the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’. Thus, it is necessary to seek the truth.
When the seeker inquires into the nature of the mind, which is present in the form of the universe, then he realizes that ‘I’ is the mind. And the mind itself is the universe.
Truth-realization is a gradual process. The seeker progresses gradually. The first requirement is a strong aspiration that gives rise to the inquiry and reason.
Know what God is supposed to be in truth according to the scriptures.
Religious Gods are mere beliefs. Belief is not God. The religious God cannot be considered as the center because the invisible Soul, the Self, is the center of all that exists.
Without the invisible Soul, the world in which you exist ceases to exist; it means the religious God is dependent on the invisible Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham” ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Even the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed the Atman itself.
Religious Gods are based on blind beliefs. The religious God cannot be considered as the center because the invisible Soul, the Self, is the center of all that exists.
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)".(1.4.10)
That is why Sage Sankara VC-61- For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman.
Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman (God).” Brahman must be realized. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness, until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying, “I am a king.”
A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines, but never by subtle arguments.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman or God in truth is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is no distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sankara is impersonal.
Advaita is the nature of the invisible Soul, the Self. Advaita is the Soul itself. Advaita is the Soul, which is God in truth. Advaita is another word for God, which is second to none.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
