Ashtavakra or any other book is not final because it has been misinterpreted by different authors based on their egocentric perspective.+

Ashtavakra or any other book is not final because it has been misinterpreted by different authors based on their egocentric perspective.
The Soulcentric knowledge cannot be grasped through a dualistic understanding.
Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal.
The study of the Upanishad was neither indispensable nor a necessary prerequisite for attaining the human goal, the moksha.
All that one was required to do was to get rid of ignorance.
There is no need to read book after book. You need to realize that only the world in which you exist is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.
Knowledge of that single stuff is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is Advaitic Gnana.
No books can do more than help us to find it, and even without them, we can get all the truth if we search for the truth that is hidden by the world in which we exist. You have a love for books without bondage to them, and read the books, but do not believe blindly because it is well written in the ornamental world, but think for yourself. No blind belief can save you; work out on your own to find the truth, which is hidden by form, time, and space. Think the Soul is your inner Guru - that Soul is an eternal help.
There is no need to read books to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.
Like a servant who carries a lamp in front of you to find your way, and you have found it, so become the spiritual books to that person who has realized the Truth. Why should the Seeker depend upon any book further?
Actual realization takes you beyond books. At a certain stage, books become a botheration.
All the books written on Advaita by eastern and western authors are based on the dualistic perspective and orthodox point of view. Thus, they do not have the Soulcentric vision of the truth.
Advaita is the nondual nature of the invisible Soul. There are so many books by many authors, but none will help the seeker to reach the ultimate understanding.
Advaitic Wisdom is not found in scriptures or books. There are only hidden parables here and there. There is no clear-cut wisdom whatsoever in the scriptures or philosophy. Mere words ~ just a collection of words.
Advaitic Wisdom is hidden within the world in which we exist. The truth is not found in the world because the world is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. The Truth is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space, but it is beyond the form, time, and space.
Sages of truth restrained themselves, parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the mass and only a selected few. It was hidden from the people who were not qualified and receptive to it.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.
Religion was given to the masses, and knowledge of the spirit is given only selected a select few. Thus, we find traces of the knowledge of the spirit in the religious books in the form of parables. :~Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything to acquire Advaitic wisdom.+

Self-realization is not easy because you refuse to accept that the Self is not within you, because some guru said it. After all, it is generally held.
After all, it is written in the holy book. After all, someone else said it. After all, you refuse to accept anything other than your accepted truth.
You indulge in what is not needed to unfold the mystery of the Self, which is hidden within form, time, and space. Your stubborn attitude blocks you from Self-realization.
Mundaka Upanishads: ~ “So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children: “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)
Sage Sankara says: ~ 61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?
,
62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly), without direct realization, one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.
63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.
There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything to acquire Advaitic wisdom.
Perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’, lead to the realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.
Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only through inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to study the Scriptures to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ then why indulge in studying the scriptures?
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.
~then why indulge in studying philosophy?
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.
~then why indulge in rituals?
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.
~then why indulge in yoga?
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman (Gnani)
~ then why stick to a Guru who is not a Gnani?
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why are you following other paths.
Sage Sankara regards personal realization as independent and convincing evidence.
Sage Sankara says that an individual’s experience cannot be disputed because the experience he went through was real to him, though that may not be real from the absolute point of view.
Sage Sankara makes a distinction between the absolute view and the relative view of things.
If one starts with the idea that the universe exists, they can never see the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, because the universe is an illusion, and only ignorant people read it as a reality.
Hence, Sage Sankara says:~ V.63 ~"Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists won't go. It can only go by an inquiry into the nature of the external world. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic Gnana is the means to Moksha or freedom from experiencing the illusion as reality.+

The duality is present only when the form, time, and space are present. The form, time, and space are one in essence.
The ego, body, and the world are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus, there is no division in consciousness in Atmic reality.
The thinker. thought and the world are one in essence, which is consciousness. The one who has realized the invisible Soul as the true self will not see the illusory division, even though he is in the midst of duality.
A Gnani is fully aware of the fact that his body, his ego, and his experience of the world are merely an illusion created out of consciousness, whereas the ignorant thinks that the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is reality. Because ignorance is based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false self (ego) within the false experience (waking).
So long as one is in the realm of duality, one has to explain how or why one thing came from another, and contradictory views are expressed. But when a Gnani shows that there is no second, there is no production, and the contradictions do not arise at all, when the ultimate thing is consciousness alone. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman, or God in truth.
The dualists’ arguments are based on false self (ego or waking entity) and false experience (mind or waking or dream or universe) to show the weakness of the position of the dualistic viewpoint. They are at their wits' end to explain.
Existence cannot be a cause and effect at the same time, from the point of view of the dualist, but deeper self-search shows the Existent is no-two and causality can’t rise at all.
Dualistic theory says that whatever was in the cause was also in the effect. They say that the gold brick, the gold medal, the gold ornaments-- are in the seed--the gold.
Deeper self-search reveals the fact that, if cause and effect are one, what is the difference between the two?
The logic holds good for the practical purpose in the practical life (waking). Soul-centric reasoning leads to non-dualistic awareness.
The mind is an illusion. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as the waking state or a dream. Advaitic Gnana is the means to Moksha or freedom from experiencing the illusion as reality.
The practical life within the practical world is a reality within the illusory waking state. The individuality is a reality within the illusory waking state. The reality of individuality lasts only so long as there is ignorance.
The duality is the cause of ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the illusory waking state or dream (duality) as reality.
When is self is in delusion due to ignorance of its formless true nature than it experiences diversity as a reality. Within the waking state, it thinks, it acts, and enjoys as an individual separate from the world, on account of ignorance.
In Atmic reality, the three states are not different from consciousness because all three states are created out of a single stuff, which is consciousness.
Just as the bubble becomes one with the ocean when it bursts, just as the pot-ether becomes one with the universal ether when the pot is broken, so also the mind, which is in the form of the universe, becomes one with consciousness when it gets knowledge of consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
When knowledge dawns in it through annihilation of ignorance, consciousness is freed from experiencing the illusion as reality. And the mind merges itself in the ocean of formless nondual consciousness.
Thus, there is a conscious unity in diversity in the midst of diversity. This is the Truth and a release from experiencing the birth, life, death, and world as reality. The absolute merging of the mind(I) in consciousness or Atman, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Prior to the appearance of the mind (I), what was the mind(I)? It did not exist as a waking state or a dream.
What was it? What prevails without the waking state or a dream? What is it that is aware of all three states, which appears and disappears in succession?
Only when one becomes aware of the existence of the formless witness of the three states is mentally grasped and realized then the reality will start unfolding itself. In addition, one will have the mental yardstick to judge what is real and what is unreal.
Without the knower, there is no such thing as the known. The knower is formless(soul), and the known is the form(universe). Therefore, until one takes the form as the knower, one remains ignorant of the invisible Soul, the Self.
Without realizing the fact that the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states in succession, it is impossible to assimilate the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The witness of the three states can remain with or without the waking state or the dream.
When it remains without the waking or the dream, it is called deep sleep in ignorance. Consciously becoming aware of the invisible Soul, the Self is and learns to view and judge the worldview on the base of the invisible Soul, the Self, will lead to nondual-awareness.
The individual experiences within the waking or dream are nothing to do with the formless witness. The individuality is part of the duality. The duality is merely an illusion.
The invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness, is pervading everywhere and in everything in all three states.
The experience of birth, life, and death is part of the individual experiences within the waking state or dream state.
Individual experiences are reality within the waking state or a dream. The waking or dream appears and disappears, hence they are not permanent.
The invisible Soul, the witness of the three states, is permanent and eternal. Thus, it is necessary to view, analyse, and judge, and conclude the truth on the base of the invisible Soul, the witness, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman. No second thing exists other than the soul (consciousness or spirit); hence, it is nondual.
Without the witness, the three states cease to exist. Without being aware of the formless witness, there is no chance of getting Self-realization.
The three states are dependent on the formless witness, whereas the formless witness exists with or without the three states.
The three states are not the experience of the waking entity(ego) but of the Soul, which is the formless witness of all three states. Viewing and judging the three states as an individual experience is erroneous.
Man and his world co-exist within the waking state. Without the world, man cannot exist. Man and world appear together and disappear together.
Concluding the truth on the base of the waking entity will lead to speculative hallucination. There is a need for a deeper understanding to assimilate the Self-knowledge, or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
Just as the dream was witnessed without the physical body, so also the same formless witness witnesses the waking. The man and his experience of the world are within the waking state or dream. The waking or dream entities cannot be the witness of the waking or dream. The dream is a parallel waking experience, and waking experience is a parallel dream.
The seeker has to mentally reflect on the formless witness constantly, until they get the firm conviction that the soul is the formless witness. The invisible Soul, the Self.
The invisible Soul, the Self, is the source. The mind (’I’) is present in the form of the universe.
The universe rises from the invisible Soul and subsides back into the invisible Soul and becomes one with it.
When the mind becomes one with the soul, then there is no duality. When there is no duality, then it is a non-dual reality, the true nature of the Soul, the Self.
Till the seeker realizes that the formless witness of the three states is not the waking entity but the invisible Soul, it remains in ignorance and experiences the duality as reality.

Only when it can grasp the fact that the Soul is the real self, will it be able to realize that the three states are unreal. The invisible Soul, the Self which is present in the form of consciousness alone, prevails as eternal identity when the seeker realizes the experience of diversity is merely an illusion.  ;~ Santthosh Kumaar

Constant repetition and persistence are the way to sow the seed of the non-dual truth, in the subconscious.+

Constant repetition and persistence are the means to sow the seeds of non-dual truth in the subconscious.
One of the reasons I have been emphasizing is the repetition of the same thing again and again, which is intended to help grasp the Advaitic truth.
It takes a few months for seekers to assimilate what has been said through messages.
The seeker not only reads the messages by constantly reflecting on the invisible Soul, the Self in these messages, but through constant mental exercises, he will be able to grasp and assimilate Self-knowledge, also known as Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The seekers who have an intense urge, are truth-oriented, ready to verify everything, and ready to accept the truth after deeper verification, will reach the non-dual destination without hurdles.
Religionists, theorists, and some intellectuals can never grasp what is being said here because they have preconceived ideas of their accepted truth; therefore, they refuse to verify the facts.
Anything communicated through these messages comes from the `inner core of existence'(Soul), not from judgment based on the ego.
The seeker may find it a bit irritating at first, repetitive messages, but it will be stirred enough to divert their attention from the Atman and the point of view I am emphasizing. Only through frequent
Repetition, the seeker will be able to grasp and focus his attention from the form (body) to formless (Soul), and be able to grasp and assimilate the Self-knowledge.

The seeker has to read repeatedly, write repeatedly, and reflect on the subject repeatedly, which helps the seeker to get a firm conviction of uncontradicted truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The ‘I’ is the state of the ignorance. The state of ignorance is nothing but an illusion.+

The ‘I’ is the state of ignorance. The state of ignorance is nothing but an illusion. In actuality, the ‘I’ itself is an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16
The illusion appears and disappears; therefore, it is impermanent. But the invisible Soul is the witness of the ‘I’, which comes and goes.
That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
The ‘I’ hides the invisible Soul, the Self, which is the cause of the 'I'.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
The invisible Soul is the Self. The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world in which you exist ceases to exist.
Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is real and eternal. The world in which we exist is an illusion created out of consciousness.
In the state of ignorance, the universe is superimposed over the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness, and accepting the universe as a reality, but in actuality, the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
From the dualistic perspective, the individual perceives the world. From the non-dualistic perspective, the world is merely an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The invisible Soul, the Self, is pure, transcendental consciousness, and the world is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
However, the Self, in reality, is not physical; it is absolute, formless, and infinite. The infinite Self appears as the waking world in which the individual perceives the world. So the appearance is superimposed on the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.
It is due to ignorance that the individual fails to see the nexus between the invisible Soul and the world. That nexus indicates the oneness underlying the subject-object, inner-outer, Man-Nature distinctions. All that is required is to remove the error, and the invisible Soul will shine on its own accord.
Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.
Sage Sankara says: - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense-organs, etc., which are unreal.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why are you indulging in other types of meditation.
One can see the bottom of the pond through its still water. When, however, pebbles are thrown into the pond, the water in it is disturbed and the bottom of the pond becomes no longer visible. That bottom, however, is there all the time, and it remains unchanged, no matter whether the surface water is disturbed or not. The water in the pond is the transactional world. The bottom of the pond is the transcendental reality. The disturbance created is ignorance, which is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman (Gnani). : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Without knowing what is this ‘I’, it is impossible to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time and space.+

People are ignorant of the truth of their true existence. They think that the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, without knowing the ‘I’ itself is an illusion.

People judge the truth on the false self (ego) within the false experience (waking). Therefore, they never can realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Until one makes sure of the Self is not the ‘I’, it is erroneous to judge and conclude the ultimate truth on the base of the ‘I’.

Realize the Self is not ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is the ‘Soul’. The Soul is the witness of the ‘I’, which appears and disappears.

Without knowing what is this ‘I’, it is impossible to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

The ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as the waking or the dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The one that becomes dual (I) and nondual (I-LESS) is consciousness. Thus, all three states are nothing but consciousness. Consciousness alone is real and all the three states are merely an illusion.

When the conviction about consciousness becomes firm, then it leads to Advaitic awareness in the midst of the duality.

Thus, it is necessary to have a perfect understanding of ‘what is ‘what’ to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Remember:~

There is no need for a Guru, to know you and your Guru and the world in which you exist are created out of single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.

Knowledge of that single stuff is the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person.

There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything. A perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’ leads to the realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~ then why do you indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study philosophy, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why do you indulge in studying philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to indulge in rituals, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why do you indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: ~ There is no need to indulge in yoga, to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why do you indulge in yoga?

Sage Sankara says transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in other types of meditation.

Those who tell you that Brahman is unity, that you can get it only by intuition, that you should not reason, you should not question or inquire, are deluding you. Verification must come by thought. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

A Gnani knows the seeker needs nothing, not even him, and is never tired of reminding the seeker of the ‘Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.+

Select Works of Sage Sankara and also his commentary on Brihad: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."

Sage Sankara's commentary: - "The knower of Brahman (Self-realized or Gnani) wears no signs.

Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

Sage Sankara on Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior." When the knower of Brahman wears no signs, it means he does not identify himself as a Guru or a teacher.

A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world because that would connote the idea of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Knowing no second thing at all, there remains nothing to be given up.

The Gurus and yogis belong to the religion, not Spirituality. Gurus and yogis are meant for those who are emotionally involved with their religion and religious Gods and Gurus

A Gnani will never force anyone to accept the path of wisdom. He will constantly bring the seeker back to the fact of his inherent perfection and encourage him to seek the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

A Gnani knows you need nothing, not even him, and is never tired of reminding you of the Self’ hidden by the ‘I’.

A Gnani continuously shares Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana with like-minded fellow seekers.

A Self-declared Guru is more concerned with himself than with his disciples and plays with their sentiments and emotions. Sticking to such Gurus, the seeker will not get the Self–realization.

Gurus and yogis are meant for those who are emotionally involved with their religion and religious Gods.

Remember, religion and yoga are not spirituality. Spirituality has nothing to do with religion and yoga. Spirituality is based on the Spirit, the real God, whereas religion and yoga are based on matter (body). The matter is nothing but an illusion created out of the Spirit, the real God.

Manduka Upanishads:~ Even the Gods cannot find out who is a Gnani because he bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.

A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world because that would connote the idea of duality.

From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the universe is the dualistic illusion or Maya. Knowing no second thing at all, there remains nothing to be given up.

Self-knowledge is only true knowledge, not the absence of duality. Self-knowledge cannot destroy the world, but it eliminates ignorance and exposes the unreal nature of the mind or universe. :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
