Sage Goudapad:~Duality is for the unwise, non-duality and undifferentiated reality is for the wise and difficult to grasp.+

The essential message of the Manduka Upanishad is that the whole world, whatever is seen, is only imagined. points out that even though it is harder for them, women can attain Brahman just as men. Page 351
"From their notion": Everybody has their own imagination about facts and starts from that, instead of discarding their personal idea and looking at the fact. Page 333. V. 8
Sage Goudapad:~ Duality is for the unwise, non-duality and undifferentiated reality is for the wise and difficult to grasp.
The illusory universe does not disappear when Advaitic wisdom dawns; it is there, and yet they are non-dual.
Manduka Upanishad:~ The objects do not disappear, they are there, and yet they are non-dual. Disillusionment is not the same as appearance. Page 74. v. 17
It is erroneous to believe the general impression is that the universe disappears to a Gnani, that he sees nothingness. Only deluded persons will have such an impression?
Nothing is destroyed. Only ignorance disappears, and the unreal nature of the universe is exposed. The same way as the unreal nature of the dream is exposed when waking takes place.
The universe, which appears as the waking experience, is a dualistic illusion.
A Gnani has the full and firm conviction that the world in which he exists is nothing but consciousness in the midst of dualistic illusion. The invisible Soul, the Self, being aware of its true nature in the midst of dualistic illusion, is called Self-awareness.
The universe or the waking experience will not disappear. It is there always, but the unreal nature of the waking experience is exposed in the midst of dualistic illusion through Advaitic wisdom.
If one thinks its mere disappearance in the Yogic Samadhi is the ultimate Truth or Brahman, then he would get it in deep sleep. Thus, the Yogic Samadhi is not the Advaitic wisdom. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Only through Self-Knowledge ignorance vanishes, no other way.+

Sage Goudapad:~ Duality is for the unwise, non-duality and undifferentiated reality is for the wise and difficult to grasp.
Only through Self-Knowledge, ignorance vanishes; no other way. To get rid of ignorance is necessary to realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible and unborn Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Without Self-knowledge knowledge it is impossible to realize God in truth.
To get rid of ignorance is necessary to realize that the Self is not you, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
If you hold the Self within your physical body, then the ignorance will be more and more deeply rooted.
You will always remain in a state of ignorance until you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
As the seeker's understanding of ‘what is what ‘grows, gradually the seeker gets a glimpse of truth.
Whatever is based on you is an illusion, and whatever is based on the Soul, the Self, is real and eternal.
Thus, the seeker of truth must make sure that you are not the Self but the Self is the invisible Soul, to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The seeker has to have an inner urge to know the truth,
seriousness, patience, and humility to reach the ultimate end of understanding.
A Gnani will not indulge in the argument; he keeps a distance from such a mindset.
The Truth is one.
The Soul is one.
The Self is one.
Brahman is one.
God is one.
Truth, Soul, Self, Brahman, and Gods are one and the Same.
Mentally hold on to the invisible Soul and drop everything. Do not hold on to the ‘I’, you will be lost in the dualistic illusion if you hold on to the ‘I’ because the ‘I’ itself is ignorance.
As long as you believe the Self is the ‘I’, then the illusory experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality. But if you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Sou, then the invisible Soul, the Self, becomes free from the cage of ignorance.
Remember this:
The world in which you exist is merely an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, the Self.
The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, the illusory world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness.
Hold on to consciousness mentally and drop the illusion, and rest in consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

In the path of wisdom, discussion of the unimportant subject matter creates a hindrance. +

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained Self-knowledge, realized Atman, which is the Self, is God in truth. Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman.
Self-knowledge will not arise from the exchange of views and opinions, and arguments. The accumulated knowledge is not a yardstick to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space.
In the path of wisdom, discussion of the unimportant subject matter creates a hindrance. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification.
The path of wisdom is divided into three parts:~
First: hearing the truth--that the consciousness is the only reality and that the universe, along with you, is merely an illusion or Maya.
Second: reasoning upon the words of wisdom of Sage Sankara from all points of view.
Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman, or God in truth.
Only through Self-Knowledge does ignorance vanish; no other way. To get rid of ignorance is necessary to realize that the Self is not you, but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Without Self-Knowledge, it is impossible to realize God in truth.

Bhagavad Gita:~ Atman that alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. +

Bhagavad Gita:~ 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained Self-knowledge, the knowledge of Atman, realizes the Self as~ Atman that alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
Self-realization could not be brought about merely by giving up the idea that there is an individual Self, which functions through the body. The 'Self' does not function through the body.
All the functions of the body take place within the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is not within the body, but the body and the world are within the mind.
Till one thinks the mind is within the body, it is impossible to realize the Self, which is beyond form, time, and space. The form, time, and space, together, are the mind. The form, time, and space are present in the form of the universe.
The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).
Many Gurus hold the ‘I’ without the body as the Self, but it is an error because the Self is not the ‘I’, but the Self is the invisible and unborn Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the ‘I’ is merely an illusion.
If the ‘I’ is an illusion, then the universe in which you exist is merely an illusion. Consciousness, which is the cause of the universe, is real and eternal. Consciousness is the cause of the illusion, and it is uncaused.
It is impossible to judge the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space, on the base of the birth entity, because the birth entity is not the Self. The Self is the invisible Soul, which is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless.
If one wants to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space, then he has to learn to view, judge, and reason on the base of the formless and invisible Soul, the Self.
By inquiring 'WHO AM I?' and 'WHY DO I EXIST?' - the Advaitic Advaitic wisdom will not dawn because the ‘I’ is not limited to an individual.
The ‘I’ is the mind. The mind is the whole universe in which you exist. The universe appears as waking or the dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality). :

If you are seeking truth then do not waste time finding a Guru and becoming his slave.+

In Spirituality or Adyathma, God means the ultimate truth or Brahman. Self–realization is truth-realization. Truth- realization is God-realization.
This universe comes forth from the invisible Soul and will return to the Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness. Verily, all is consciousness.
The deepest desire of the seeker is to realize the Self.
Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.
That is why Sage Sankara's declaration: ~ “Brahman is the truth. The world is unreal, everything is truly Brahman, and nothing else has any value.
If you are seeking truth, then do not waste time finding a Guru and becoming his slave.
The Gurudom belongs to the religious and yogic path, and it has nothing to do with the Advaitic path.
Upanishads:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they are wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

There is no need for a Guru to know you and your Guru and the world in which you exist, are created out of a single clay, and that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of that single stuff is the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person:~Santthosh Kumaar

Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.+

Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.
Religion is the home of mysticism and deification, which is why they are not keen on the rational truth.
Religion and scholasticism, and yoga are for that help who are incapable of grasping the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Religion is based on dogmatism, not philosophy. One finds philosophical insights here and there in religious doctrine. All the religious doctrines are dogmatic because they also begin by assuming their blind belief-based Gods.
The blind belief-based God becomes the center of the religion; thus, every religion has its own idea of God thus there is no universality in religious beliefs.
Religion takes the position that God is a separate entity outside us, i.e., God really exists separately from us. Orthodox people are afraid to go deeper and refuse to accept anything other than their religious authority because of punishment by God.
A Gnani says the scriptures for children, but wise seekers will think rationally.
Vedas bars human worship: ~
"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal Prakriti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the Prakriti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow and suffer terribly for a long time,":~ (Yajur Veda 40:9.)
Then why worship and glorify the Gurus and Yogis (human form) in place of God when the Veda bars such activities, and it also warns people who indulge in such activities are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time.
No one has ever seen God by practicing religion or yoga or indulging in glorifying the religious God and Goddesses because God exists prior to form, time, and space.
The form, time, and space cease to exist as a reality when wisdom dawns. Thus, the Gods and Gurus have no place in the domain of the Advaitic reality. Advaita is the nature of the invisible Soul, which is the real God. Thus, Self-realization is the only way to God-realization.
By worshipping the religious Gods and Gurus, one will not get Self-realization or God-realization.
There is no scope for a belief-based God because the belief is not God. Religion and its ideas of Gods are mere imagination based on the false Self (ego), within the false experience (waking).
Thus, whatever beliefs are based on the false Self is bound to be a falsehood.
Thus, it is erroneous to worship the matter, instead of the All-Pervading Spirit (God) and those who worship things born of matter.
The religious-based Gods and Goddesses are with form and attribute (matter) are not the real Gods. That is why the Vedas declare, those who sink into the greatest depth of misery and suffer who worship the matter.
Ishopanishad says: ~ “They are steeped in ignorance and sunk into the greatest depth of misery who worship the matter, instead of the All-Pervading God, and those who worship things born of matter like trees, animals, man, etc., are sunk deeper in misery."
Rig Veda: ~ May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman, nor worship other than the Atman.
Vedas declare: ~ One should never accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman. If one worships any other God in place of Atman, they are enveloped in still greater darkness; in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."
So, it clearly indicates the so-called Gods worshiped in the temples today are not Vedic Gods. Vedas bar worship of such Gods.
Why worship and glorify the Gurus and Yogis when the Vedas bar human : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

It is not the ego, which is blocking Self-realization. It is ignorance that is blocking Self-realization.+

It is not the ego that is blocking Self-realization. It is ignorance that is blocking Self-realization. The ego is the product of ignorance.
It is impossible to eliminate the ego. You cannot go beyond the ego because you are the ego. The ego is the very basis of the world in which you exist. It is impossible to eliminate the ego.
Remember: ~
People talk of getting rid of the ego, but it is impossible to get rid of the ego. The ego is the very basis of form, time, and space.
Without the ego, form, time, and space cease to exist. Without the form, time, and space, the world in which we exist ceases to exist.
Thus, a perfect understanding of ‘what is what' is required to get rid of ignorance.
Without getting rid of ignorance, the form, time, and space prevail as a reality.
One has to get rid of ignorance, not the ego, because the ego is the product of ignorance.
Just by saying let there be ‘oneness’, the diversity will not vanish. Without Advaitic wisdom, ignorance will not vanish. Without getting rid of ignorance, the dualistic illusion (the world in which you exist) prevails as a reality.
Trying to get rid of the ‘ego’ is like trying to get mangoes from a coconut tree. The truth is not imagination. Ornamental words may give satisfaction to a certain mindset, but they block one from realizing the ‘Self’ hidden by ignorance.
The ultimate truth is the fullness of consciousness. There is nothing apart from consciousness, because the whole universe is nothing but consciousness: ~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
