It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality.+

Atmic path is not a question and answer session or exchange. of views and opinions.

Advaitic wisdom does not arise from following some method or practice, but it arises only from a perfect understanding of what is what."
You must have the patience to open the blogs and post, and read. It will not only help you to clear all your cobwebs of doubts and confusion.

Without reading my posts and the blogs, trying to argue on your own yardstick, but it is also not of any use. Whatever you have read, whatever you have heard, and accumulated becomes a hindrance in realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Chandogya Upanishad -One who meditates upon and realizes the Self discovers that everything in the cosmos-- energy and space, fire and water, name and form, birth and death, mind and will, word and deed, mantram and meditation--all come from the Self,
All your egocentric accumulated cocktail knowledge is not Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana, is soul-centric knowledge, which is not available in the spiritual supermarket.

All accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth. The seeker has to discard all the accumulated knowledge and start afresh.
Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Reading and reflecting on my blogs and postings gradually, the seekers will start assimilating and realizing ‘what is the truth’ and what the untruth is. Repeated reading of my blogs and postings will make the seeker, Soulcentric, and the inner dialogue will start, and clear all the doubts and confusion.
When there are no doubts and confusion, then they have realized the truth that form, time, and space are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness.
There is no use in wasting time in questioning and arguing at the same time, and effort has to be used to make the seeker more independent, and without external spoon-feeding, he can reach the inner core, which is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
In the Atmic path, discussion of the unimportant subject matter is a great hindrance. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. Agreeing to disagree causes unnecessary friction.
The truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
I can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality.
One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until one gets a firm conviction of 'what is what'.

Words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’. People need to read and hear the words, think reason, reflect deeply, and reach the ultimate end.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There are hundreds of commentaries from different authors on the Bhagavad Gita. Each one goes on spinning yarns imagining as he likes what the meaning may be.+

There are hundreds of commentaries from different authors on the Bhagavad Gita. Each one goes on spinning yarns, imagining as he likes what the meaning may be.

Bhagavad Gita has been interpreted in a thousand ways, according to the author’s capacity to understand the test of all these is the reason. Only a few understood the Bhagavad Gita.

Bhagavad Gita is a hodgepodge containing everything; hence, it suits the populace because there is something in it for every type of mindset. It is difficult to find any tradition whose voice is not found in the Gita. It is difficult to find anyone who does not take solace from the Bhagavad Gita. But for such people, the Advaitic path will prove very difficult.

Once you are Soulcentric, you will know what the Bhagavad Gita and other scriptures really meant, you will see that there is only one possible interpretation, irrespective of your opinion or imagination.

Bhagavad Gita does not contain higher wisdom. The Bhagavad Gita is intended for those who are incapable of thinking rationally.

People love the Bhagavad Gita because it is very easy to extract one's own meaning from it.

Reading the Bhagavad Gita, a religious believer extracts something of which he can make a belief, because the Bhagavad Gita speaks of bhakti, devotion. The karma yogi extracts his belief because Krishna has spoken on karma yoga, the Yoga of action. The believer in knowledge finds what he wants because the Bhagavad Gita has spoken on knowledge as well. Somewhere Krishna calls bhakti the ultimate, somewhere else he calls knowledge the ultimate, again elsewhere he calls karma yoga the ultimate.

Lord Krishna taught the Karma and Bhakti yogis their own paths only in order to lead them up to the Gnana yoga path, which is the highest and the real object of his teaching.

Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India ( Advaitic Gnana) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita ~ Chap ~IV~ v.2)

Why is the word Yoga used in so many different senses in the Gita? Because there are grades and the highest demands concentrated brains, not sitting mindless and imagining you are seeing God.

In the Gita Chap.IV where Lord Krishna says: ~ “This yoga has been lost for ages" the word yoga refers to Gnana yoga, not other yogas: the force of the word this is to point this out.

Lord Krishna describes some of the other yogas, but devotes this chapter separately to Gnana Yoga. So one sees even in those ancient days, people did not care for Advaita; they wanted religion; hence, Gnana got lost.

That is why Krishna calls it "the supreme secret." Krishna points out that the yoga must-see "Brahman in action."

Gita Chap.IV:~ “He who achieves perfection in Yoga finds the Self in time." This means that after his yoga is finished, he begins the inquiry into the ultimate truth, and in due course, this inquiry produces the realization of the universal spirit as the result.

Understanding what is God is not so easy. Religious people can only imagine God based on their beliefs.

That is why Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know Self in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

No dualities, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (brahmano hi pratisthaham, ( 14.27)

It proves that the all-pervading Atman, which is present in the form of consciousness, is God in truth.

Thus, worshipping the form-based Gods is meant for the ignorant populace who are incapable of realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Lord Krishna says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know me in truth.".

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 22: ~ ".....who has gone beyond the conflicting dualities like good (happiness) and bad (sorrow)....."

Bhagavad Gita: 4: 42:~ ".....cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword (weapon) of knowledge. ....."

Bhagavad Gita: 5: 18:~ “The learned men (who have come out of delusions (Māyā), got rid of Avidya) see no differentiation have an equal vision for a revered Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog, and a cāndāla (outcaste, rogue, mleccha, demonic person, etc)"

Bhagavad Gita: 5: 19:~ "Those who have achieved the true knowledge i.e., the 'Self-Knowledge' or the 'knowledge of Atman' and see no difference, are free from conflicting dualities and have merged in Brahman."

Bhagavad Gita: 5: 20:~ "One who does not get excited out of happiness on getting good and does not get depressed on getting bad is situated in Brahman i.e., is merged in Brahman."

Bhagavad Gita: 6: 9:~ "The one who has an equal vision for a Selfless do-gooder, a friend, a foe, an unbiased, a well-wisher, a depressed and jealous man, relatives, a righteous and a sinner is the best (as he sees no duality and differentiation but sees everything as Ātman)"

Bhagavad Gita: 6: 32:~ “.....as one seeks and treats oneself with equal vision, the same way one who has an equal vision for good and evil, for everybody is the best of all."

Bhagavad Gita: 6: 8: ~ "For whom soil, a pebble, and gold are alike, he is merged in Brahman."

Bhagavad-Gita Gita: 7: 27:~ ".....people are getting entangled in the primordial ignorance (Avidya) of the conflicting dualities like good and evil, happiness and sorrow caused due to attachments, desires, and hatred....."

Bhagavad Gita: 6: 28:~ “.....who have cut off conflicting dualities (like good and evil) is determinedly in my service. ...."

Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, in the last birth in the series of many births worships Me as~ Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."

The earliest part of the Bhagavad Gita deals with religion because it is for mentally immature persons, but in the latter part, you get philosophy, as that is intended for the intellectually evolved. You can’t make all men into geniuses, and therefore religion is provided for them.

Lord Sri Krishna himself says that he can do nothing to make a man intelligent straight away. The adepts give Prasad, blessings, initiations, mantrams, etc., only to confer temporary peace of mind, to help one to get rid of worries, but not to confer Gnana. The capacity to receive it must first be inborn in man by evolutionary degree.

In the statement in the Bhagavad Gita says that the path of the Unmanifest is harder than others; this path means Gnana Yoga.

The Upanishads and the Gita do not give detailed explanations because the knowledge of those days was not as advanced as it is nowadays. However, there are odd words here and there that give hints.

The  Bhagavad Gita gives dualistic worship of "God” only for the lower minds; it also indicates the Advaitic wisdom for the more evolved.

Likewise, thinkers and poets of the Age of Devotion (Bhakti) of the 16th century believed in a God with attributes who became very tangible when incarnating as an Avatar and was attainable simply through love and devotion rather than scholastic and intellectual meditation.

For the religious people, the Bhagavad Gita became the main vehicle of inspiration with its qualified and deistic Monism, rather than the scholastic and esoteric path shown by Sage Sankara's Advaitic path. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is a need to highlight how they become an obstacle to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.+

Normally, people will not understand what I am driving at because they are seeking something that they can enjoy.
People's ambition is to acquire wealth and enjoy practical life within the practical world. They are looking for an advantage in the world to take care of their daily life. Thus, to get what they want in practical life, they indulge in the numerous paths of dogmas and rituals prescribed by the Gurudom, expecting their daily life to go on comfortably.
The so-called Gurus and yogis focus their ambition on acquiring wealth by making the masses more and more dogmatically oriented. No one inquires why they are in this hell. This begging to God and Guru goes on and on. If their wish is fulfilled, they indulge more and more; if the wish is not fulfilled, they indulge again and again because of fear of getting curses of God and Gurus. Thus, to get rid of this path of begging, one has to know the truth of his true existence.
That is why Swami Vivekananda: - The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods?
Knowing this, stand up and fight! Not one step back, that is the idea. ... Fight it out, whatever comes. Let the stars move from the sphere! Let the whole world stand against us! Death means only a change of garments. What of it? Thus fight! You gain nothing by becoming cowards. ... Taking a step backward, you do not avoid any misfortune. You have cried to all the Gods in the world. Has misery ceased? The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods? ... The Gods come to help you when you have succeeded. So what is the use? Die game. ... This bending the knee to superstitions, this selling yourself to your own mind does not befit you, my Soul. You are infinite, deathless, and birthless. Because you are the infinite spirit, it does not befit you to be a slave. ... Arise! Awake! Stand up and fight! Die if you must. There is one to help you. You are the entire world. Who can help you? - Swami Vivekananda (Delivered in San Francisco, on May 28, 1900) -The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 1/Lectures And Discourses/The Gita II
Yoga Vasistha says:~ ‘Self’-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is a need to highlight how they become an obstacle to realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own Soul.”
The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
A Guru is needed in the religious and the yogic path. There is no need for a Guru to acquire ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You cannot impart Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom to anyone incapable of grasping the truth that the universe is an illusion.+

The philosophers and modern thinkers of the world cannot get over their tallest hurdle, not because they cannot see that they are part of the illusory universe, but because they are so strongly attached to the reality of the illusory universe in which they exist that they modify or fit their theories to please this attachment. In short, they refuse to give up the illusory universe in which they exist.
Only those who think body and world are real, follow yoga and mysticism, which is the middling class of intelligence. Those who grasp that they are mental constructions belong to the highest grade of intellects.
Desires, attachments, and passions are regarded as handicaps to the path only because they prevent one from accepting the truth that the universe (matter) is an illusion. Naturally, one will say "he likes his villa because it is luxurious and very comfortable. He refuses to regard it as merely an illusion," if he is so passionately attached to its reality. They do not necessarily mean specific desires for wealth, women, etc.
You cannot impart Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom to anyone incapable of grasping the truth that the universe is an illusion.
Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is verified truth. That is why Sage Sankara did not impart Advaitic wisdom to everyone."
Unless one can eliminate the illusory universe in which he exists, it is no good imparting the Advaitic wisdom to him.
It is knowing that is absolutely necessary for the existence of a thing; the objects are not different from the subject.
Remember:~
In the past, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana was imparted only to a few because Sages of truth had preserved it people were more interested in their religious beliefs.
Nowadays, people are more advanced, capable of understanding, assimilating, and realizing the truth beyond form, time, and space.
As the seeker starts his journey, he may find it difficult at first as he goes on reading the post, his subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
The truth is very simple. It is very difficult to realize because it is lost in the dualistic knowledge we inherited, collected from different sources, different masters, different gurus, different philosophies, different ideologies, different books, and scriptures. All this accumulated knowledge is a mere hill of garbage.
Nothing is needed other than realizing the knowledge of the single stuff. The single stuff is the cause of the world in which we exist. And that single stuff itself is causeless. That single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The invisible Soul is the Self. Knowledge of the invisible Soul, the Self, is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Atma Gnana is knowledge of God. Realizing God in this very life is your goal. God-realization itself is real worship.
A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed. Only an intense urge to know the truth, humility, sincerity, and patience are the only qualifications to realize God in this very life and in this very world.
Discard accumulated knowledge. The Soul, the inner Guru, is waiting for you to take the first step, for you to realize there are no more steps.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ’what is untruth’.
It takes time for the invisible Soul, the Self, to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space. : : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Unless and until ignorance is removed and Self-Knowledge is gained, the invisible Soul remains in the cage of the dualistic illusion or Maya.+

Unless and until ignorance is removed and Self-Knowledge is gained, the invisible Soul remains in the cage of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The invisible Soul, the Self which we do not see, we say is real; and the world in which we exist is false. In Self-awareness, what exists as the world does not really exist, and the consciousness that is hidden by the dualistic illusion eternally exists
Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.
Sage Sankara says - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
The invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the only reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs, from which everything has emerged, which is the cause of everything, and which is everything.
Thus, there is a need to realize that the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.
When the matter is an illusion created out of the Spirit, then Spirit alone is real.
When the object is created out of the subject, then the subject alone is real.
When the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness, then consciousness alone is real.
Reality and unreality are created out of single stuff because of the unreality (the world in which we exist), which is experienced as a reality; we are unaware of the reality hidden by the unreality.
There is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The dualistic illusion, which is present in the form of the ‘I’, hides the truth.
Stick to reality by mentally dropping the unreality.
Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
The Turiya is not the fourth state, but it is the nature of the invisible Soul, the Self. The invisible Soul has no name because it is formless. The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
The body, ego, and the world together are the invisible Soul. Thus, the invisible Soul is not an individual. The objective observation is dependent on the ego (waking entity or physical Self). The invisible Soul observes both the objective as well as the subjective
Objective awareness is unreal and impermanent, whereas subjective awareness is real and permanent.
Objective awareness is dependent on the invisible Soul, whereas subjective awareness is independent and eternal.
Man and his world are within the objective awareness, which is present in the form of ‘I’. The ‘I’ is an illusion.
Thus, holding ‘I’ as real is holding illusion as reality without knowing this truth; it is impossible to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’ or mind, or universe.
The reasoning is interpretable in two ways. The egocentric interpretation is to apply it only to the practical purpose (waking experience).
The Soulcentric interpretation is to apply it to the three states. The latter leads to the final settlement of the problems because it takes all data into consideration. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance.+

The world in which you exist is the product of ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the duality as reality.

The duality is present in the form of the mind.

The mind is present in the form of the universe.

The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The duality (universe or waking) is an illusion from the ultimate standpoint.

All the thoughts, words, feelings, the attachments, including you and your experience of the world, are part of the dualistic illusion.

The dualistic illusion (universe) is created out of a single stuff. That single stuff is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is the Self. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, no second thing exists other than consciousness.

For the dualists, the world in which we exist is a reality. The dualists are based on the ego. Their knowledge and dualistic philosophy are egocentric.

The dualists, the experience of birth, life, death, and the world, is a reality.

All the religions of the world are based on the dualistic perspective. Whatever is based on the dualistic perspective is not spirituality.

The orthodox Advaita is also based on the dualistic perspective; therefore, it has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom.

For nondualists, the world in which we exist is an illusion. The Nondualists are based on the invisible  Soul, the Self. The knowledge and nondualistic philosophy are based on the invisible  Soul, the   Self.

The seeker has to learn to view the worldview from the non-dualistic perspective, to realize Advaita (Soul) hidden by the illusory Dvaita (the world).

The look of the world in which we exist will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the world in which we exist (object), observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the world will see it differently from a Gnani viewing the same world. Each one interprets the world that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego; therefore, he sees the world in which he exists as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness, and he is fully aware that there is no second thing that exists other than the invisible Soul or consciousness (subject).

Thus, all the objective observation has to be bifurcated to realize the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Only from the dualistic perspective, the changes take place. From the non-dualistic perspective, there are no changes. Those who believe in the dualistic world as a reality feel the knowledge changes from time to time, but they must realize their knowledge is limited to the form of time and space, whereas Self-knowledge is the knowledge of the beyond the form, time, and space.

The change is possible only in ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the world in which exists as a reality. Consciousness is the cause of the world in which we exist, and it is uncaused.

The world in which we exist is dependent on consciousness for its existence, but the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is independent.

From the standpoint of the invisible  Soul, the Self, the world in which we exist is merely an illusion.

Only within the illusion, the changes take place; the illusory changes within the illusion are bound to be an illusion. In reality, consciousness alone is real and eternal. Thus, the knowledge of the eternal will always be eternal. The intellectual knowledge based on form, time, and space is bound to change from time to time as science progresses in its dualistic inventions.

Consciousness is ever changeless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is not teaching or philosophy, but Advaita is the universal wisdom. Advaitic wisdom is neither a teaching nor a theory, but it is merely guidance to those who are seriously seeking the ultimate truth or Brahman. Grasp the ultimate truth anytime any age, if the seeker has the spiritual maturity and capacity to grasp it.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.

It really depends on his inborn natural capacity to understand and assimilate it. Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached and what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up a criterion for Self-judgement. There are millions in search of truth, but one in a million will be able to grasp it.

Without Sage Sankara, there is no Advaita (nonduality). Since it was mixed up with orthodoxy, there is a lot of confusion. I am highlighting all the obstacles that are blocking one from realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

There are so many non-dualistic masters of the East and also from the West who expound Advaitic or non-dualistic knowledge, but none of them are helpful in reaching the ultimate end.

One has to know and realize the Self is Soul and identify it as his true identity to find liberation from the bondage of the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world(duality). The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with the invisble Soul, which is the Self.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

To come to a more precise understanding of what non-duality is or might mean, we must return to the original linguistic and philosophic backgrounds from which the word has been translated into English.

If we limit a probe of the meaning of non-duality to Hindu Sanskrit literature, we find that the most frequently used term is “Advaita.

Advaita is not a religious concept. Advaita is the nature of the existence hidden by the 'I'.

The seeker has to attempt to rule out from the start a false understanding of reality by a perfect understanding of ‘what is what’.

The Advaita is hidden by the dvaita. Advaita is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Dvaita is the universe.

Advaita is basically a denial; it is literally the negation of the dvaita. That means whatever remains by negating the universe by realizing the universe is created out of a single clay and that clay is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, the hidden truth by dvaita is uncovered.  Consciousness is the cause of the universe, and it is uncaused. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

People are ignorant of God in truth, so they believe and worship their inherited religiously propagated blind belief as God.+

People are ignorant of God in truth, so they believe and worship their inherited religiously propagated blind belief as God.

People are being conditioned by the religious myth, which has made them non-thinkers. It is high time they come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.

If people have believed false Gods propagated by religion over millions of years, the length of time does not prove it is God in truth.
It is high time for the ignorant populace to realize God in truth according to their own scriptures.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ ‘All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many Gods. (7- Verse -20)
Only the path of wisdom leads the seeker of truth on his journey to the ultimate realization of the God hidden by ignorance.
Bhagavad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, worships ‘Self’ as~ Atman (God in truth) alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare."
Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When the Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
The invisible Soul, the ‘Self itself, is the Infinite God. The invisible Soul is the Self. God is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. God is the fullness of consciousness without the illusory division of form, time, and space. Therefore, there is nothing apart from it.
God is Self-evident. God is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny God because God is the very essence of the one who denies it. God is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. God is within the universe in which you exist. God is without the universe in which you exist.
God in truth is the Supreme Being, the One eternal homogeneous essence, indivisible consciousness, and intelligence, which is beyond form, time, and space. To which the Sages describe it in a variety of ways through diverse words.
The Vedas confirm God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas. The Vedas themselves say: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God, Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization is real worship.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
How can you worship God? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas God is nondual. One can worship his idea of God only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
When the Upanishads and Vedas declare that “God is the form of the Athma, and God is indeed Athma itself,” then why accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman?
People who worship God based on blind belief are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Remember:~

All the karmas performed by the orthodoxy are non-Vedic and barred by the Vedas.
That is why Veda bars such worship, and people who indulge in such activities will suffer and sink into darkness.
The Upanishads say Self-realization is the human goal. Therefore, one has to strive only for self-realization or truth realization.
All the religionists believe in God and Goddesses [vidya] and performing rituals and other sacrifices(Avidya), both are a hindrance to self-knowledge according to the Ish Upanishads, then why does the seeker of truth need worshipping of God and Goddesses when the essence of Advaita is that Atman is Brahman?
Therefore, if one is seeking truth, he has to know that his true self is not physical, but it is the Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.
Isa Upanishads indicate that: By worshipping Gods and goddesses and going to the world of Gods after death is of no use. The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend the same time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is the main goal.
One cannot reach the non-dual destination by glorifying God and Goddesses, and by doing that, one goes deeper and deeper into darkness. It surely indicates the fact that the seeker of truth has to drop the worship of God and Goddesses.
It also indicates that Religious Rituals (Avidya) are Karma [action] and therefore a hindrance. By performing Agnihotra and other sacrifices, [Avidya] is a roundabout way of purifying the mind, and it is also groping in the dark.
In addition, it indicates that karma is limited only to religious rituals, not to the whole human life. This karma theory, based on human conduct, must have been adopted from Buddhism and other theories based on human conduct.
When it says: Perform the obligatory karmas without any attachment to the fruits, and at the same time worship gods and goddesses, again without any desire to go to heaven - then you can get the benefit of both, liberation and bliss.
For those who are not yet ready to renounce, this path is recommended; it means that the religion and its idea of god and goddesses, and code of conduct, and its rituals are meant for the masses who are incapable of thinking of the beyond.
Vedas themselves declare: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman? Thus, to know the real God, Self-realization is necessary.
Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization is real worship. thin the universe in which you exist, God is without the universe in which you exist.
