Dali Lama said:~“Change of religion may be easy, but it is very bad and creates confusion.+

The most important thing is that neither society nor politics nor any religion has anything to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Self-knowledge helps to transcend form, time, and space. Perhaps this is why the pursuit of truth has not had much impact.
There is no wisdom whatsoever in this. Scriptures are just a collection of words. Thus, Advaitic wisdom is not found in scriptures.
Advaitic Wisdom is hidden by the dualistic illusion. The truth is not found in words. The truth is the invisible Soul, the Self.
The Dalai Lama said:~“Change of religion may be easy, but it is very bad and creates confusion. He cited a few instances of emotional conflict after conversion. It is “safer” for an individual, particularly in India, to follow his/her own religion. [DH-DEC-21-2009]
--
Change of religion is not the means to acquire Self-knowledge. When the Self is not the physical entity, and the physical entity is the false self, then the religion which is based on the false Self is limited to false Self (you) and the false experience(world).
Deeper Self-search on the true base reveals that the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the true Self.
From the standpoint of the Soul as the Self, the man, world, and his belief in the religious God are merely an illusion.
The invisible Soul is real, and the world is unreal. The unreal is created out of the consciousness, which is real and eternal.
Sage Sankara says: ~“Gnana is common to all religions.
Gnana is spiritual truth based on the Spirit. The Spirit is universal. The Spirit is the universal God. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul or the consciousness.
Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit.
There is nothing like One Gnana for a Hindu, another for a Buddhist and another for a Christian another for Muslims.

If you are seeking the truth of your true existence, then you must set yourself free of religion; traditional cultures should be discarded. : : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

When the Self is not the body then the location of the Heart is of the chest and not on the left.+

Sage Ramana Maharshi said in (KNOW YOUR SELF~page 31):~ the location of the Heart is in the chest and not on the left. The light of consciousness flows from the heart through the Sushumna channel to ‘Sahasrarara.
From ‘Sahasrarara’ consciousness spreads all over the body, then the experience of the world arises. Viewing themselves as different from that consciousness, human beings get caught up in the cycle of birth and death.
The ‘Sahasrara’ of one who abides in the Self is pure light only. Any thoughts that approach it cannot survive.
Even when objects are perceived, because of their nearness, it does not destroy yoga, as the mind sees no differences.
The state in which awareness is firm, even when objects are sensed, is called the natural state. In Nirvikalpa Samadhi, there is no objective perception.
The entire universe is in the body, and the whole body is in the Heart. Hence, the universe is contained within the Heart.
Some other Gurus also propagate that the Nadi you refer to is called Amrita Nadi. It connects the Spiritual Heart with the Sahasrara. It is best to merge in the Heart and then see that the Heart is beyond time and space.
But remember:~
When the Self is not the body, then the location of the Heart is of the chest and not on the left. The light of consciousness flows from the heart to through the Sushumna channel to the ‘Sahasrara’ has no value. All these concepts are yogic, and they have no value in the Atmic path.
When the Self is not the body, then the question of the Nadi or Amrita Nadi, or Sahasrara, does not arise. Until we think the Self is within the body, it is impossible to cross the threshold of dualistic illusion.
Deeper self-search reveals that the Self is not the body, so why bring Nadi, chakras when they are part and parcel of the body? Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the Self is neither the body nor the ‘I’.

Thus, one has to go beyond the ‘I’ means beyond the form, time, and space to realize 'Self' is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

No one has seen God creating the world.+

No one has seen God creating the world. People think that there must be a creator of this universe.
If one thinks the body as the Self, then there is a creator, but if one realizes the invisible Soul as the Self, then there is nothing exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, there is neither form nor time nor space.
Religion propagates the creator and the creation theory, hence people are forced to admit it. People are stuck believing in the creator and the creation theory, thus they are stuck in the reality of the world in which they exist.
No one has seen God creating the world. No one can claim that he was the first Knower of the creation. How can anyone know that God created the creation when he himself is a part of the creation?
People talk of God created the creation as if they were present when God created the creation. So people who wrote creation and creator theory existed prior to God creating the creation.
There has to be at the very beginning of the creation someone or other who was the very first knower of the creation. There cannot be something ‘known’ in the absence of a ‘knower.’
Creation is the very nature of the invisible Soul, the Self. It is his inherent nature that simply emanates and flows from the invisible Soul. But even this is only an illusory appearance, for in truth there's no creation at all.
If one objectifies and sees the universe, then he is bound to see many things, besides himself, and postulate a God, the creator.
Body, God, and the world rise and set together from, and into, the invisible Soul, the Self. The invisible Soul is the source from which the mind (universe) rises and subsides.
If God is apart from the invisible Soul, the Self, then He would be Self-less, that is, outside existence, that is, non-existent. The mind (universe) and its substance and its source (Soul) are one in essence. That essence is consciousness.
Thus, consciousness alone is real; all else is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The ultimate truth is God.
From the absolute standpoint, the creation is an impossibility. The creation and creator theory is a false theory based on the false self. Whatever is based on the false self is bound to be a falsehood.

Consciousness is the only reality in which the universe (creation) exists, to which the universe (creation) belongs; from which the universe (creation) has emerged, which is the cause of the universe (creation), and itself is uncaused. Thus, the universe (creation) is nothing but consciousness. :: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

According to Sage Sankara, whatever is, is Brahman. Brahman itself is absolutely homogeneous.+

There is no higher or lower goal within the universe, which is a dualistic illusion. There is only one goal, Self-Realization."
Self-realization is to realize that the experience of birth, life, death, and the world is merely an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, the Self.
Ignorance is the cause of experiencing birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.
Without ignorance, the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, prevails as the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
If the invisible Soul is free from ignorance, then it is free from experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.
The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking (the world in which we exist) becomes unreal when the invisible Soul, the Self, wakes up from its sleep of ignorance.
The invisible Soul wakes up from its sleep of ignorance when you have the firm conviction that the ‘Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul.
There is no meaning of life from the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, because the world, in which you exist, is merely an illusion created out of the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The one that is born, lives, and dies is not the Self.
You are bound by birth, life, and death, so you are not the Self because the Self is the invisible Soul, which is birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Only the false self thinks there is a meaning of life within the dualistic illusion because of ignorance. Without the invisible Soul, the Self, the world in which we exist ceases to exist.
The invisible Soul, which is the cause of the dualistic illusion (the world in which we exist), is itself uncaused. The invisible Soul is the only reality that is the basis of our illusory existence, in which we experience our birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.
The birth, life, death, and the world are part of the waking experience, which is an illusion from the standpoint of the true Self (consciousness). It is no use in saying that we are not born, we do not die, because we all were born and we all are going to die. However, birth, life, death, and the world are part of the illusion, which comes and goes as the waking experience.
The formless substance and witness of the three states is real, which is our true identity. The Self, which is in the form of consciousness, has no birth and death.
When there is no scope for two in reality. Only from the dualistic perspective, there is meaning in life. From the non-dualistic perspective, life is meaningless. : : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace. Thus, it is not a path of wisdom.+

Advaitic Orthodox tradition and the parampara belong to religion, and it is dualistic; and it has nothing to do with Sage Sankara’s wisdom, which is nondualistic.
Advaitic orthodoxy is meant for the ignorant populace. Thus, it is not a path of wisdom.
Adyatma has nothing to do with religious sects, creeds, or religious beliefs. Adyatma is pure spirituality. Knowledge of Atma is Adyatma. Advaita is Adyatma.
Adyatma is the knowledge of the truth hidden by illusory form, time, and space. Bifurcate religion, yoga, and theoretical philosophy, and base the truth on the Athma, it is Adyathma.
Adyatma is based on the ultimate truth, which is based on the Atman or Spirit, which is the Self.
Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is pure spirituality or Adyathma.
The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is a rigorous, absolute one. According to Sage Sankara, whatever is, is Brahman. Brahman itself is absolutely homogeneous. All differences and plurality are illusory.
Sage Sankara gave out what was of most use to the greatest number of people. Therefore, in the commentaries on the Upanishads, such as the famous Mundaka, he gave the highest non-dual message of the identity of Atman and Brahman, revitalizing the philosophy and practice of Advaita, while in the commentaries on the Brahmasutra he gave lesser teaching, positing both higher and lower Maya and higher and lower Brahman (Ishvara) to explain creation for those of lesser intellects until they were ready for the highest truth.
Sage Sankara was very careful with his choice of semantic analysis and use of words, taught at different levels of doctrine at different times as the situation warranted.
The Advaitic formula, to be successively realized, is: The world is unreal; Brahman is real; the world is Brahman.” This is the vision of non-duality. Sage Sankara affirmed a progression of points of view depending on the stage of one’s practice.
“From the standpoint of the waking entity, the universe is a reality; from the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness. When wisdom dawns, then one realizes the whole universe is consciousness.
The dualistic view is possible only in ignorance.
At the dawn of Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, there is only the non-dualistic view in the midst of duality because the whole universe is consciousness.
Thus, all the contents of the universe are also consciousness. Thus, form, time, and space are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. If the form, time, and space are consciousness, then the experience of birth, life, and death is also consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Rig Veda:~May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman.+

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
That is why Sage Sankara VC- v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated---yet, without the realization of one‘s identity with the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together
Sag Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be realized. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying, “I am a king.”
Sage Sankara says:~ A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya.
The Atmic path is not meant for religious and yogic-minded people. Religious and yogic people must move on their chosen path. The Atmic path is for only seekers of truth who are seriously searching for the truth of their own existence.
Sages of truth restrained themselves, parting the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana to the masses and only a select few. It was hidden from the people who were not qualified and receptive to it. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana, was not written down but was imparted orally to the chosen few.
Thus, religion was given to the masses, and knowledge of the Spirit is given to only a select few. Thus, we find traces of the knowledge of the Spirit in religious books in the form of parables.
Katha Upanishad says: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one, Atman reveals its own form. (II -23-P-20)
Upanishads:~ Fools dwelling in darkness, but thinking they are wise and erudite, go round and round, by various tortuous paths, like the blind led by the blind. (Upanishads Nikilanada - Ch II-5 P-14)

The 'Soul, the 'Self' reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal' when the seeker is receptive and ready. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+
