Dalai Lama:~Being able to have sexual contact without releasing semen is something needed when you practice the advanced stages of the complete stage.+

Buddhist believe sexual intercourse without releasing semen is required for your spiritual growth.

***
Buddhist Teachings about Sex of Tantric Buddhism.

“Being able to have sexual contact without releasing semen is something needed when you practice the advanced stages of the complete stage." ~ Dalai Lama
•••
"For Buddhists, sexual intercourse can be used in the spiritual path because it causes a strong focusing on Consciousness if the practitioner has firm compassion and wisdom. Its purpose is to manifest and prolong deeper levels of mind (described earlier with respect to the process of dying), in order to put their power to use in strengthening the realization of the emptiness. Otherwise, mere intercourse has nothing to do with spiritual cultivation. When a person has achieved a high level of practice in motivation and wisdom, then even the joining of the two sex organs or so-called intercourse does not detract from the maintenance of that person’s pure behavior..."
"Through special techniques of concentration during sex, competent practitioners can prolong very deep, subtle, and powerful states and put them to use to realize emptiness. However, if you engage in sexual intercourse within an ordinary mental context, there is no benefit." - How to Practice, Way to a Meaningful Life, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Translated by Jeffrey Hopkins.
SK:~ I respect the views and wisdom of H. H Dalai Lama.
As per my conviction: ~
Sex is nothing to do with the Soul, which is sexless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
The one which born, lives has sex, and dies within the world is not the Self because the ‘Self is birthless and deathless.
The ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
If the ‘Self’ is not you, by you having sexual intercourse the ignorance will not vanish. Wisdom is not product intercourse. All these imaginary theories based on the false self within the false experience produce only hallucination not the realization of truth.
Those who propagate Samadhi through sexual intercourse are not Gnanis. Sexual intercourse is nothing to do with the Soul, which is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence. Those who indulge in sexual activities in order to get enlightenment will permanently remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion. They are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge.
Sex and the sexual act are not the means to Self-realization because the Self is genderless and ever formless. Sex implies duality. The tantric sex is a theory based on the false Self (you) within the false experience (waking). When the world in which you exist is an illusion, thus having sex within the illusory world is bound to be an illusion.
Sex belongs to the domain of duality. What is the use of discussing celibacy and sex in the Atmic path when the Atma is genderless because it is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence?
Dalai Lama said: ~ Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali Lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulbarga).
Buddhist do not believe in Atma. Thus, the entire Buddhist theories and sutras are physically based therefore, they yield the truth of the part not the truth of the whole. All the Buddhist teachings are not of the Buddha, but it is mixed up with other religions of different nations in Asia which were merged with Buddhism. Thus, It is very difficult to get the pure essence of pure essence Bhagavan Buddha‘s wisdom.
Buddhism has not proved the truth of Nonduality. , Advaitic Sages agree Buddha pointed out the unreality of the world.
Buddha told people they were foolish to cling to it. But he stopped there. He came nearest to Advaita in speech but not to Advaita fully.
Only when we independently search the truth without religion and its doctrine then we will be able to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

If one has understood what truth really is then there is no necessity to know ‘who you are?+

If one has understood what truth really is then there is no necessity to know ‘who you are?
If one has understood what ‘truth ‘really is “then there is no necessity to know ‘who you are?
WHO AM I?’ or ‘I AM THAT’ reveal only half-truths because they are limited to individuality and reveal only the unreal nature of the ego.
The ego is individuality whereas the invisible Soul’, the Self’ is not an individual because it is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.
Thus, the journey is incomplete.
The seeker has to go much deeper to know the full truth about the ‘Self', which is beyond form, time, and space.
Remember:~
What is the use of finding out ‘who you are?’ It is an undeniable fact that you are the birth entity born in this world.
You think you are an individual separate from the world. You think the world existed prior to you and you are born in it but you are unaware of the fact that you and your experience of birth, life, death, and the world are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’.
Why you are saying I AM THAT when the Self is not you but the invisible Soul is hidden by the ‘I’.
You are saying I AM THAT within the world in which you exist.
The world in which you exist is the dualistic illusion or Maya. What is the use of saying I AM THAT within the dualistic illusion or Maya?
The dualistic illusion or Maya hides the Self. Realize the Self’ is not you but the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ appears and disappears. The Self is not the ‘I’. The invisible Soul, the Self’ is always present is hidden by the ‘I’

A perfect understanding of ‘what is what' is needed to realize the truth, which is hidden by the . :~~ Santthosh Kumaar

Self-inquiry is not finding out who you are but realizing the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.+

Self-inquiry is not finding out who you are but realizing the Self is not you but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Self-inquiry is finding out the ‘Self’ which is hidden by the illusory universe, in which we exist.

By inquiring ‘Who am I?’, ignorance will not vanish.

Without getting rid of ignorance, the Advaitic wisdom will not dawn.

The ‘WHO AM ‘I’?’- inquiry is good at the starting point of the pursuit of truth but in later stages it creates confusion. When the Self is genderless then it is not He/She. Therefore, using the word ‘I AM’ for the Self is erroneous. Deeper Self-search reveals the fact that the Self is not the ‘I’, therefore ‘WHO AM I?- inquiry will not help to unfold the truth beyond the form, time, and space.

The one who holds the ‘I’ as the Self never will be able to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. Thus, it is necessary to realize first the ‘I’ is not the Self, but the Self is the Soul, the formless witness of the ‘I’.

The ‘I-centric' teaching and teachers are not a yardstick in the path of wisdom. ‘I’ based teaching will not lead the seeker to the ultimate end of his inner journey.

Remember:~

Without the Advaitic wisdom, it is not possible to realize the truth, which is hidden within the world in which we exist.

That is why Sage Sankara Says: ~ VC-63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

What is the use of saying ‘I AM THAT’- without knowing what the ‘Self’ is in actuality?

Without knowing the truth of the Self, without realizing the truth of the world in which you exist it is impossible to realize the truth beyond the form, time, and space.

By a mere utterance of the word ‘I AM THAT', the truth will not be revealed. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

There is a need to know what is ‘I’ before indulging in the pursuit of truth.+

The invisible Soul is the real Self. ‘The Soul is not 'I'.  Holding ‘Self as the 'I' is holding the illusory universe or Maya as a reality. There is a need to know what is ‘I’ before indulging in the pursuit of truth.

Dualist Guru including many thinkers could not distinguish between ‘I’ and the Self. They hold 'I' as the Self. Their highest was the Jiva. They are so much attached to the 'I' that they do not want to think that 'I' does not exist. Again they are unable to detach the ‘I’ from the invisible  Soul, which is the real Self.

The dualist Gurus object: - If everything else is false then the statement I am Brahman is itself false, but when one says non-duality is false, there must be the awareness, consciousness, behind the very statement. You will also go, die. One has to rely upon that which is permanent. The nondual  Soul, the Self, which is the witness of the ‘I’ alone is permanent. The invisiblw  Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Anything that one says is a witnessed (waking), but there is the formless witness (consciousness) there before any statement could be made.

They mean the body by “I", but it is the formless witness which is the real Self . Theists dualists did not, or could not analyze further than ‘I’ on this point because they thought the ‘I’ without the body as ‘Self’.

WHAT IS ‘I’?

The ‘I’ disappears as deep sleep, so what is the use of being attached to it? It is impermanent and illusory.

There is really no ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. And the mind is in the form of the universe. The universe appears as the waking or dream. The ‘I’ or mind or universe or waking or dream dies disappears as deep sleep.

One that appears as ‘I’ or the mind or universe or waking or dream is nothing but consciousness and it disappears as deep sleep is also consciousness. In deep sleep, it is in its formless nondual true nature.

The one, which witnesses the coming and going, of the three states, is also  consciousness. Thus, the witness and the witnessed are one, in essence.

Thus, the universe is a reality on the base of the ego. You are the ego. The ego is the false self within the false experience (waking).

The universe is unreal on the base of the invisible Soul, the Self.  The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The seeker gradually will grasp and realize the unreal nature of the universe (‘I’).

Individuality is illusory because the ‘Self’ is not an individual because the invisible Soul, the Self’ is formless and it pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states.

Dualist sages have written big volumes about the soul. Yet they are quite ignorant of the fact that the ‘I’ about which they write itself’ comes and goes and has no permanent existence, is only an idea after all.

What is it that appears as the ‘I’ and disappears as the ‘I-less? It is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not make the mistake of holding the ‘I’ as the Self because it is not permanent. ‘I’ disappears and becomes ‘I’-less-Soul.

‘I’ is an illusion and the ‘I-LESS-Soul’ is real and eternal. The ‘I-LESS- Soul ‘appears as ‘I’ and ‘I ’‘disappears as I-LESS- Soul.

Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the whole.

The earliest ancient sages used the word ‘I’ to the witness of the three states not to the ego as moderns use it and think the ‘I’ without the body is the Self. The seeker has to realize that ‘I’ is not the Self, but the witness of the ‘I’ is the true Self, which is eternal.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say 'I', if you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sex-oriented enlightenment is a false theory based on the physical Self. Such theories lead to hallucinations.

Sex-oriented enlightenment is a false theory based on the physical Self. Such theories lead to hallucinations.

Sex to Samadhi is a theory based on the false Self. The world in which you indulge in sex itself is an illusion. Therefore, sex with the unreal world will not yield the truth.

Till one has to realize on what standpoint the world in which you exist is an illusion it is difficult to understand, assimilate and realize the truth and it is difficult to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

When Self ‘is not ‘I’ then it is erroneous to judge the truth on the base of the ‘I’. The Self is the invisible Soul, which is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is uncaused. How can the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless Self indulge in sexual activities?

Sexual activities are possible within the domain of form, time, and space. Sex is an individual act between two individuals. The invisible Soul the Self’ is not an individual because the invisible Soul is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The one which indulges in sex is the one which is born but one which is born is not the Self. The Self is the invisible Soul, which is birthless and deathless.

Sex is beautiful within the domain of duality which gives some temporary release from worldly stress but the Sex will not bring enlightenment. Sex-oriented enlightenment is merely a hallucination based on the false self.

Remember:~

The Sex belongs to you, not to the Self. The Self is not you but the invisible Soul, the Spirit. The invisible Soul, the Self is not male or female because it is genderless. The invisible Soul is genderless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Sexual activities are possible only in the domain of form, time, and space. From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the form, time, and space are merely a dualistic illusion pr Maya.

If the form, time, and space are merely a dualistic illusion, then all the activities taking place within the dualistic illusion are bound to be an illusion.
The dualistic illusion is the product of ignorance. Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.

Until you get rid of ignorance, it is not possible to unfold the mystery of our true existence because the true existence is hidden by the illusory existence of the form, time, and space.

Sex is nothing to do with Gnana. Many think, by indulging in sexuality they get enlightenment. Sex implies duality.

Without the dualistic illusion(world), sexual activities are possible. Whatever is the outcome of the sexual activities is not Advaitic Gnana or wisdom.

The Self is not you but the invisible Soul. How can you claim that it got enlightenment through sex when the Self is not you but the invisible Soul? The invisible Soul, the Self is sexless because it is formless timeless, and spaceless existence.

Thus, it is no use indulging in sex to get enlightenment because the sex-oriented enlightenment theories are false theories based on the false self (ego). :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with tantric sex. Having sex or not having sex does not qualify one to get Self-realization.+

Sex belongs to the domain of duality. No use in discussing celibacy and sex in the Atmic path when the Atma is genderless because it is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence?

Gurus who propagate Samadhi through sexual intercourse are not Gnanis. Sexual intercourse is nothing to do with the invisible Soul, which is genderless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Those who indulge in sexual activities to get enlightenment will permanently remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion. They are unfit to acquire Self-knowledge.

Sex has nothing to do with the invisible Soul, the Self. Sex is a reality on a physical base. When the body is not the experiencer of the body itself, it is not correct to be judgemental on the ’I’ (physical base).

Until one becomes aware of the formless entity, which is witnessing the body and the world together, he will not be able to know and realize man and his experience of the world is an illusion. Therefore, it is necessary to become aware of the formless witness to know the experience of the birth, life, death, and the world mere an illusion.

If the experience of birth, life, death, and world is an illusion, then sex also is part of that illusion.

The seeker has to learn to view and judge the worldview on the base of the formless witness, which is the invisible Soul, the Self, to understand and assimilate the truth beyond form, time, and space.

The sex-based theories of enlightenment are mere theories based on the false self (ego or the waking entity) and false experience (waking or universe). Sex is nothing to do with Self-realization. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

You, your body, your ego, and the world in which you exist appear together and disappear together.+

Mundaka Upanishad:~ As rivers flow into the sea and in so doing lose name and form, so even the wise man, freed from name and form, attains the Supreme Being, the Self-luminous, the Infinite. He who knows Brahman becomes Brahman. ~ 3.2.8-

Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe, which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.

Your body is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

Your ego is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

The world in which you exist is nothing but an illusion created out of consciousness.

You, your body, your ego, and the world in which you exist appear together and disappear together.

Mentally reduce the world in which you exist as consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

There is nothing that is not consciousness, which is Brahman. Thus, consciousness alone is real and rest is merely an illusion.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the invisible  Soul. The invisible Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realizing God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion.

Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth of God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual conditions determine the three states, observed and experienced. The commoner viewing the three states will see them differently from a Gnani viewing the same three states. Each one interprets the three states that they see in terms of their existing knowledge. The commoner sees everything based on the ego, therefore, experiences the birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, whereas a Gnani sees everything as consciousness (Brahman) and he is fully aware that, there is no second thing exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness (Brahman). :~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+
