Seek until you find the ‘Self’, which is hidden by the world in which you exist. The world in which you exist itself is the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Sage Sankara gave religious rituals to the ignorant populace because it is very difficult for the ordinary person to grasp the Advaitic wisdom.
Sage Sankara shared Advaitic wisdom with the few who had an intense urge according to their capacity to grasp and readiness to listen and understand. What Sage Sankara meant was to leave all and follow the Athma; that means to realize the Self, which is hidden by Maya.
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought.
Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.
Sage Sankara says: ~ A. A 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
Investigation of the world in which we exist is very much necessary because we are searching for the truth within the objective world. The objective world is an object to the Soul, which is the formless subject. The subjective knowledge is very much necessary to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
Knowing something is true within the objective world as truth is truth only on the dualistic perspective.
From the non-dualistic perspective, the dualistic defense will not sustain. Thus, there is a need to learn to view the subject as the subject and the object as the object.
In reality, the subject and object are one in essence. So, there is no object in the realm of the subject.
There is always evidence of misunderstanding because people are viewing and judging the nonduality from the dualistic perspective.
Everyone innately believes in the reality of practical life within the practical world.
If they take the practical life within the practical world as a reality, then they have accepted their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality.
If they have accepted their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, then they have accepted the waking experience as a reality.
If they have accepted the waking experience as a reality, then they have accepted the form, time, and space as a reality.
If they have accepted form, time, and space as a reality, then they have accepted the duality as a reality.
If they have accepted the duality as a reality, then they have accepted the mind as a reality.
If they have accepted the mind as a reality they have accepted the ‘I’ as a reality.
If they have accepted the ‘I’ as reality, then they have accepted the illusion as a reality.
If they accepted the illusion as a reality then they are in the realm of ignorance. Till they hold the ‘I’ as the Self they will remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
