Advaitic wisdom or Self-Knowledge is achievable without the grace of any Guru or the religious God or the mercy of some Godmen.+

Religious Gurus and yogis are the theologians, the Gurus and yogis are religious heads, and these people are not Gnanis.
Some great scientists and professors who claim who have mastered Vedas and Upanishads, and these people are not Gnanis but intellectuals.
These people dominate the ignorant populace, and they are not the Gnanis ~ they are not Gnanis because they have accumulated bookish knowledge. All their accumulated knowledge is second-hand.
There are so many gurus and yogis, but their knowledge of Advaita is based on a dualistic perspective. Humility and patience are required to realize the truth that is beyond form, time, and space.
Sage Sankara clearly indicates in Viveka Chudamani (2) that the Knower of the Atman (A Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (stanza 539).
A Gnani wears no signs; it means he does not identify himself as Guru or teacher, or swami. Thus, it is not necessary to become a sanyasi or a yogi or a swami to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Sage Sankara page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."
When the knower of Brahman (Gnani) wears no signs, then it means he does not identify himself as Guru or yogi or teacher, or Swami.
Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread."
Sage Sankara, in his work The Crest Jewel of Discrimination (1) or as it is sometimes known, Viveka Chudamani (2), states that the Knower of the Atman (i.e., a Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539). Sage Sankara writes on Gnani: ~“Sometimes he appears to be a Fool, sometimes a wise man. Sometimes he seems splendid as a king, sometimes feeble-minded. Sometimes he is calm and silent. Sometimes he draws men to him. Sometimes people honor him greatly, sometimes they insult him. Sometimes they ignore him.
Unless one realizes the invisble Soul as the Self as it really is, it is impossible to realize the nondualistic or Advaitic truth.
Tripura Rahasya: ~ Second-hand knowledge of the ‘Self’-gathered from books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward. ~ 18 89
Some Gurus even simply go on fabricating beautiful words and theories and creating an illusion in the minds of people that perhaps they are authentic seers, enlightened people.
When the Vedas and Upanishads say that the consciousness or Atman is actually nothing but Brahman, then why go round and round, by various torturous paths, like the blind led by the blind?
Ish Upanishad:~ Those people who have neglected the attainment of Self-knowledge and have thus committed suicide. ~10/11/12
Remember:~
Advaitic wisdom or Self-Knowledge is achievable without the grace of any Guru or the religious God or the mercy of some Godmen.
At the end of the quest, the seeker becomes aware of the fact that the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Consciousness is the only reality in which the universe exists, to which the universe belongs; from which the universe has emerged, which is the cause of the universe, and which itself is uncaused. Thus, the universe is nothing but consciousness.
There is nothing that exists other than consciousness. Thus, the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the Ultimate Reality or Brahman.
The seeker has to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. The form, time, and space are made of a single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. To realize this simple truth, there is no need for any Guru.
Do not waste time and effort in finding a Guru. If you are searching for the truth about your existence, then no Guru is needed.
To get rid the ignorance, the only remedy is Self-knowledge. Self-knowledge is to realize that the Self is not you, but the Self is the formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Guru, scriptures, and religion are not of any use in the path of Wisdom. Ignorance will not vanish by having a Guru. Without direct realization, one cannot be liberated by becoming a disciple of some Guru.
Without causing the ignorance to vanish and without Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, how is one to realize that the world in which he exists is merely an illusion? :~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
