The invisible Soul is the Self. The invisible Soul, the Self, and the grace are one, in essence. There is nothing apart from the invisible Soul, the Self.
The word ‘One’ is not understood anywhere except in the Advaitic path. ‘One’ always means two when analyzed. Hence, the Upanishads are careful to show they do not mean this monism, but "One without a Second,” that is, the Advaita.
No philosopher of the world has seen this point. Monism is really a pseudo-monism that is the duality.
Unless and until ignorance is removed and Self-Knowledge is gained, the Soul remains in the cage of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
The invisible Soul, the Self which we do not see, we say is real; and the world in which we exist is false.
In Self-awareness, what exists as the world does not really exist, and consciousness, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion, eternally exists.
Sage Sankara says: - VC-47 All the effects of ignorance, root, and branch, are burnt down by the fire of knowledge, which arises from discrimination between these two—the Self and the not-Self.
Sage Sankara says - VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book-knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
The Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness, is the only reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs, from which everything has emerged, which is the cause of everything, and which is everything.
Thus, there is a need to realize that the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.
When matter is an illusion created out of the Spirit, then Spirit alone is real.
When the object is created out of the subject, then the subject alone is real.
When the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness, then consciousness alone is real.
The reality and unreality are created out of a single stuff because the unreality (the world in which we exist) is experienced as a reality; we are unaware of the reality hidden by the unreality.
There is no second thing that exists other than the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The dualistic illusion, which is present in the form of the ‘I’, hides the truth.
Stick to reality by mentally dropping the unreality.
Sage Sankara said: ~A.A~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
The Turiya is not the fourth state, but it is the nature of the invisible Soul, the Self.
The invisible Soul has no name because it is formless. The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
The body, ego, and the world together are the invisible Soul. Thus, the invisible Soul is not an individual. The objective observation is dependent on the ego (you). The invisible Soul observes both the objective as well as the subjective.
The objective awareness is unreal and impermanent, whereas subjective awareness is real and permanent.
The objective awareness is dependent on the invisible Soul, whereas subjective awareness is independent and eternal.
Man and his world are within the objective awareness, which is present in the form of ‘I’. The ‘I’ is an illusion.
Thus, holding ‘I’ as real is holding illusion as reality without knowing this truth; it is impossible to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’ or mind, or universe.
The reasoning is interpretable in two ways. The egocentric interpretation is to apply it only to the practical purpose (waking experience).
The Soulcentric interpretation is to apply it to the three states. The latter leads to the final settlement of the problems because it takes all data into consideration. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
