All the happening within the illusory universe is bound to be an illusion.+

Suppose we are discussing the same subject in a dream; the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns.
The Advaitic wisdom dawns when you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, all the happenings within the illusory universe are bound to be an illusion.
Until ignorance is there, the world in which you exist prevails as a reality.
When ignorance vanishes through Advaitic wisdom, then the world in which you exist, which you think as reality, becomes an illusion.
Thus, whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person within the waking experience is bound to be an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, is real and eternal.
If one says this universe is real, then: ~
A person who stamped his foot on the ground to refute, to show the world, is real, ignores that in a dream he would do exactly the same--stamp his dream foot on the ground and assert it to be real.
Advaitin Sage and Maya;~
The King of the Hoysalas was a dualist and was greatly incensed at the doctrine taught Advaitin Sage that everything here below is an illusion. He wanted to teach the exponent of this doctrine a lesson. So he invited the then Advaitin Sage to his palace. That Advaitin sage went there and stoutly maintained that everything in this world was an illusion. The king had arranged to let loose an infuriated elephant against, Advaitin sage. The beast rushed at Advaitin sage, who took to a precipitate flight to save himself.
'Oh, Venerable Sir,' shouted the king, 'why do you run so fast, seeing that the elephant is only an illusion?'
'Oh, king,' said Advaitin sage in the course of his flight, 'my running too is an illusion. Everything in this world is an illusion.’
Similarly, the practical life within the practical world is merely an illusion.
A Gnani is fully aware of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘what is untruth’. A Gnani is fully aware that the experiences the pleasure and pain within the waking experience are merely an illusion because the waking experience itself is an illusion.
Thus, life within the waking experience will go on, on its own. It has nothing to do with the invisible Soul, the Self. The waking or dream is merely an object to the formless witness.

The invisible Soul is the Self. The Soul is the witness. The Soul, the witness, has nothing to do with the three states, because it is merely the witness of the coming and going of the three states or illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The 'I' know attitude blocks one from realizing the Self hidden by ignorance.+

People think what they know is the ultimate truth, but they are unaware of the fact that their dualistic knowledge has nothing to do with the invisible Soul, the Self, which is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The 'I' know attitude blocks one from realizing the Self hidden by ignorance.

The seeker needs to be receptive to understand and assimilate the Self-knowledge effectively. He has to have patience and humility and allow the man of truth to speak freely and express himself about the Self-Knowledge, without hindrance or interruption. In return, the seeker will receive free expression and then try to grasp what he is saying.

The seeker should not be a judge on the base of his accumulated knowledge and simply argue on his own point of view. The seeker has to accept other views if they find them uncontradictable truth.

The seeker has to verify the validity of all claims by using his own reason. The seeker has to get all the doubts cleared by questioning patiently and pointing out all the doubts and confusion with humility.

The argument is the greatest obstacle in the pursuit of truth; therefore, never indulge in arguments. Therefore, discussion with humility is the way towards the ultimate truth. This will enable him to provide the understanding and to see the fellow seekers' perspective, that is not to say that he has to agree to their point of view, however, it will offer or enable one to consider another option. And it helps the seeker to think deeper when he is not satisfied with the answers and find the answer on his own reasoning, till un- the uncontradictable answer is found.

If one can truly understand “what is Mind”? “What is the substance of the mind?” it would lead to resolving a lot of perhaps unnecessary trouble, and conflict.

If we look closely at the nature of the mind, what it is really, how it has come into being, and what constitutes it, it will become clear of the fact that the mind is merely an illusion; the formless substance of the mind, which is the spirit, is real and eternal.

Remember:~

The seeker should always think of the Soul, the Self, which is hidden by the dualistic illusion or Maya. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Remembering the invisible Soul, the Self, through reading the words of wisdom, even if one does not understand what they read, it will be absorbed subconsciously, and it is very important for the seeker because whatever he reads in my blogs and posts will help the seeker as autosuggestion.

Remember this again and again:~ You and the world in which you exist are the dualistic illusion or Maya. Whatever belongs to you is a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya. The universe itself is an illusion, on the other hand. The invisible Soul, the Self, is the ultimate reality.

The invisible Soul, the Self, is present in the form of consciousness is infinite; the universe is merely an illusion created out of the consciousness.

The dualistic illusion or Maya is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of form, time, and space. The form, time, and space are present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The dualistic illusion or Maya is created out of the invisible Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of consciousness.

When the Self is not you but the invisible Soul, what is the use of identifying the Self as you?

Remember: ~

The Self is not you. You are not eternal because you are bound by the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.

The invisible Soul, the  Self, is eternal. The invisible Soul is birthless and deathless because it is ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

It is foolish to say I AM THIS or I AM THAT’ because the ‘Self ‘is not ‘I’. The ‘Self is the invisible Soul, which is the cause of the ‘I’.

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say ‘I’,  if you feel the  Self is the ‘I’, you are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

Even after knowing the Self is not ‘I’, people are stuck in ‘I-centric teaching and Gurus. Those who are stuck with ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ will never be able to get rid of ignorance. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

The one who exhibits miracle power is not a Gnani; his miracle power is limited to the illusory universe or Maya.+

A common error amongst followers of Godman is to jump to the conclusion that he possesses miraculous powers because unusual coincidences happen in a few cases, which they universalize. The miracles imply duality.
The duality is merely an illusion. What is the use of performing miracles within the illusion?
The one who exhibits miracle power is not a Gnani; his miracle power is limited to the illusory universe or Maya.
The seeker of truth should not be carried away by Godmen’s miracle powers or by the attitude of authority which they adopt in speaking to people. It has no value.
Most gurus illustrate the ‘I know’ attitude inherited by their gurus, not knowing the ultimate truth or Brahman, really.
People are certainly brilliant intellectually in their other spheres, such as history, but remember the truth that most of these people keep the quest for truth in watertight compartments apart from the other sections of their brain. They apply reason admirably to their profession or business, but drop it and use feeling or emotion only when trying to philosophize.

The quest for truth has nothing to do with Godmen, gurus, and yogis and their miraculous power. The path of wisdom is to realize the truth beyond form, time, and space. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara has declared that the world is an illusion. It means the world in which you are born, live, and die is merely an illusion.+

Sage Sankara has declared that the world is an illusion. It means the world in which you are born, live, and die is merely an illusion.

Sage Sankara has declared that the world is an illusion. It means the form, time, and space which is present only when the world is present are merely an illusion.

Sage Sankara has declared that the world is an illusion. It means the world, which appears as waking or dream, disappears as the invisible Soul in deep sleep is merely an illusion.

Sage Sankara declares that Atman is Brahman and Brahman alone is real. It means the invisible  Soul is present in the form of consciousness and is the ultimate truth. The ultimate truth is Brahman. Brahman is God in truth.

The invisible Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness (Spirit), is God. Everyone innately believes in the reality of practical life within the practical world. If they take the practical life within the practical world as a reality, then they have accepted their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as reality.

If they have accepted their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as a reality, then they have accepted the waking experience as reality.

If they have accepted the waking experience as reality, then they have accepted the form, time, and space as a reality.

If they have accepted the form, time, and space as a reality, then they have accepted the duality as a reality.

If they have accepted the duality as a reality, then they have accepted the mind as a reality.

If they have accepted the mind as a reality, they have accepted the ‘I’ as a reality.

If they have accepted the ‘I’ as reality, then they have accepted the illusion as a reality.

If they accepted the illusion as a reality, then they are in the realm of ignorance.

Till they hold the ‘I’ as the Self, the Soul, the  Self, will remain in the prison of the dualistic illusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Advaitic wisdom dawns when you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.+

Q:~ Dale Langley So, Santthosh, if there is only one without a second, then who/what writes/speaks these words? Is the one called Santtosh a messenger of the soul?
Santthosh Kumaar: ~Suppose if you had asked the same question in a dream, the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when Advaitic wisdom dawns.
The Advaitic wisdom dawns when you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
From the standpoint of the invisible Soul, the Self, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. Thus, all the happenings within the illusion are bound to be an illusion.
Until ignorance is there, the world in which you exist prevails as a reality.
When ignorance vanishes through Advaitic wisdom, then the world in which you exist, which you think as reality, becomes an illusion.
Sage Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita:~ Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.
Thus, whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced as a person within the waking experience is bound to be an illusion created out of consciousness.
Thus, the invisible and unborn Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness alone, is real and eternal.
Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world in which you exist ceases to exist.
Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it.
Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything.
Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Reading my posts & blogs often propels the reader into the thinking process.
By reading repetition of the words on this subject, the inner whirling in the subconscious takes place, which replaces the old thoughts based on the ego by accepting the Soulcentric truth.
Perfect understanding removes all sorts of obstacles in the pursuit of truth. Only through constant repetition of words in my posts will make one think differently, but it also creates more doubts and confusion in his subconscious, and their inner urge to know the truth becomes even more intense. And it also helps to overcome some of our conditioning, which we have inherited from parental grooming and circumstances.
Remember: ~
Repetition of reading the words of wisdom assists a seeker to help to focus his attention from the form (world) to formless (Soul or consciousness), which is very much necessary in the pursuit of truth.
Repetition of reading my posts and blogs is an effective tool and has an effect on the subconscious mind, which is not receptive to receiving new truth because it is conditioned to receive only a logical conclusion based on ego.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the invisible Soul, the Self, to wake up from its sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The nature of the invisible Soul or Spirit is like a state of sleep. But sleep is unconsciousness of the objects, whereas Self-awareness is conscious awareness of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness in the midst of the object.
The reason, in respect of Ultimate Reality, is like the impossible conception of a sleeping man trying to know what he is about, without waking up. As sleep is to waking, so is ordinary life to the state of realization.
The seeker should be aware of everything that is untrue: stick to the truth, and he shall succeed, maybe slowly, but surely: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Yoga has its place rather than its value, and its value is for a certain type of mindset.+

Manduka Upanishad:~ Yoga is in the sphere of duality and is unnecessary to one who knows non-duality.

Yoga has its place rather than its value, and its value is for a certain type of mindset.

Yoga will remove restlessness, and helps to get receptiveness, but never Truth because it ignores the external world. Yoga cannot remove ignorance. It is only a step. It removes obstructions.

Yoga can yield only the duality because everything that one can do or practice becomes a vanishing 'known.' It yields the relative truth, i.e., true from a particular viewpoint, not the ultimate truth.

Yoga implies duality! Yoga means joining two things, something to which the yogi is to be joined. He thinks I want to know God, and I want to attain Union. So he has the ego and cannot attain, whereas the first thing in the path of truth is to question the ‘I’ until its illusory nature is perceived and the seeker no longer says "I want to attain ultimate truth.

One has nothing to get for oneself, as it has vanished on inquiry, not even will he say I will work for the sake the humanity.

In Sutra Bashya and Manduka Upanishad, ~ Samadhi and sleep are identical.

Brihad Upanishad does not advocate Samadhi.

It is not possible to stop the thoughts for more than a second whilst in the waking experience. If one succeeds in controlling thought and then banishes it, one passes into Nirvikalpa Samadhi, which is identical to deep sleep. The only difference between ordinary deep sleep and Samadhi, therefore, is that the ordinary man falls asleep involuntarily, whereas the yogi has the satisfaction of knowing that he has passed into sleep by his own effort of will in banishing thoughts.

Sage Patanjali warns against sleep as a hindrance to yoga; he means when it occurs in the early stages of the practice, before one has obtained the power of control, and consequently, to banish the thought. The fact that Samadhi is deep sleep is kept secret because people would not be tempted to take up yoga. Then what is the value of it? Why, to sharpen the mind, to enable it to keep away all extraneous thoughts when one gets out to reason in the practice of the next higher stage, i.e., Gnana.:~Santthosh Kumaar

All religions survive on myths.+

All religions survive on myths. The rationalists would be on more solid ground if they attacked the myths of all religions.
Unfortunately, every religion is attacking the other, considering them to be a myth. The only way out is to unfold the mystery of existence.
Many paths and theories, and practices make one confused about which path and practice to use because each one of them claims to get the truth.
Everyone tries this, and still, one is unable to unfold the mystery. The mystery of existence becomes a distant dream.
Religious truth is individual truth, and it is not universal truth because religion is based on individuality. Spiritual truth is the universal truth.
There is no scope for individuality in the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman. In the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman, the form, time, and space are one in essence.
The essence is invisible consciousness. Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal, and all else is merely an illusion.
The scriptures give much advice and remedies, and each of them claims to be infallible. It is high time for a shift in his attention from all the theories and practices which are based on the physical self, and to indulge in self-analysis and discover the facts of his own existence.
Yoga Vasistha:~ "Teachers, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the heart, engendered from contact with the good."
The only way to unfold the mystery of existence is a deeper self-search that helps the seeker of the truth to discover and realize the true facts of his true existence through deeper self-search without the help of religion, glorifying Gods, scriptural studies, or yogic practice.
When the seeker realizes the facts of his true existence then realizes that the ‘I’ is not the Self, but the ‘I’ is the mind, which is present in the form of the universe.
The waking experience is a dualistic illusion. Thus, the seeker realizes that whatever he believed and experienced as reality on the base of the ‘I’ is an illusion. Since the formless non-dual substance of ‘I’ is Self. Thus, it is necessary to seek the truth.
When the seeker inquires into the nature of the mind, which is present in the form of the universe, then he realizes that ‘I’ is the mind. And the mind itself is the universe.
The truth realization is a gradual process. The seeker progresses gradually. The first requirement is a strong aspiration that gives rise to inquiry and reason.  :~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara said: ~Liberation comes only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way.+

The Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. If the Self is the invisible...
